I saw that and uggh... it's exactly what you get from most of troon activism claiming that without surgeries and affirming behaviour, troon kids will die. Jeannette is convinced that, had they not made Jazz a girl, he'd be dead and they rather have a defective kid rather than a dead one. I get that's the feeling when your kid might be a cripple because anyone would rather have a child with only one leg than being dead, but this ain't the case. This is:
I've had experience with that kind of parent and I can`t help but feel some empathy for Jazz and I get why he eats so much.
If Jazz feels sad, Jeanette's reaction is "I AM SAD because you're sad", so his reaction is to not showing being sad to keep his mother from being sad. And that "I am sad bc you're sad" attitude can be interpreted as "YOU MADE ME SAD", which gives him an extra feeling of guilt. Jazz can't ever express any negative feeling because negative feelings make Jeannette sad and worried. So either he hides his problems or his brain shuts off any kind of feeling through denial.
The Jennings are lucky that Jazz is an antisocial incel, otherwise he'd be around banging strangers or doing drugs instead of eating too much.
That's the healthiest interaction he's probably had with his siblings because that's the kind of things your siblings would tell you.

Watched the new episode and just... wow. Jazz doesn't even look like he wants to be there and it's obvious that being his mother's little project took its toll and he has no enthusiasm for anything in life. The girl he once had a crush on popping back in was a huge blow as well. Maybe it was his moment there where he imagined a life where he grew up normal and was a basic college guy bringing a girl home but instead Mommy was harping about his snack hoard (the only thing that brings him joy).

God, what’s the point of being shirtless when peddling propaganda? It looks bizarre. I think with Jazz the main problem with weight isn't what they are eating as you say but the amount, people who are depressed and in a certain frame of mind tend to over eat, however I do wonder how much of this is Jazz drinking, you can eat a lot of stuff and not pack on the pounds in a short period of time they have the only way I've seen people do that is drink I know Jazz isn't producing the hormones they need and taking others to compensate but seriously Alcohol is the only thing that I can think of that would account for it so fast.
I think being on Camera as a performing monkey for most of his existence has done that to him, there is only so long you can fake it for especially if your in pain or some other form of discomfort 24/7.
Slightly OT but I've got a point - This last summer I was in a Park and it was one of the first big outdoor events allowed so it was packed with families just having a nice day out at the park with a music tent, food stalls, performers etc and I was at a icecream tent sitting down with my family and there was this woman insta-thot clone with her kid taking photos with a DSLR trying to eat a ice cream, but the kid never got a chance to eat a bite the mum always repositioned the kid and the ice cream etc and the kid no older than 6 or 7 said "Did you get it?" mum says "Yhea" takes the ice cream and bins it grabs the kid and walks off - This was a kid, in summer, in the park after 12 months confinement acting as a prop for Instagram and being totally OK with it because that's all that poor kid's known.
That's what Jazz has had his whole life, He just had a more professional camera crew for a good portion of it. and I think that's what's really starting to dawn on him and he's coping the only way he can and that's through food and / or drinking and that there might be better options he can take advantage of because of his social isolation outside of his family, ass patters, production crew and vested interests. There is nobody in his world who he can go to and talk to honestly without it being milked or put on camera and it's always been this way.
I don't know where it is in the thread but I can recall the video of him that was doing the rounds on the net of him 5 or 6 years old describing his Trans Status, and he was parroting almost exactly adult language and terms that no kid without some serious coaching would use and it's only gotten worse since and you can see it when he talks about medical or staged things but occasionally they capture real moments of emotion intentionally or otherwise and those stand out as they have a bit of soul to them.
I can honestly see Jazz in 5 - 10 years finally breaking and then talking about covered up suicide attempts, self harm and manipulation on TV and such and becoming a bit of a figure head again but this time for the De-Trans movement and genuinely finding a purpose in life.

I honestly think for him he hasn't got a sexual preference at this point, I've said that for Chris in the past because I think Chris is too immature and stunted to understand the concept of sexuality or gender in any other way that "BEWBS", Jazz I think was never allowed to enter a normal sexual phase physically and to some extent mentally so he's never developed a real preference.
Kid's develop in ways that Adults have a hard time conceptualising, until the age of 5 kids mix readily but around the age of 5 they start to separate on developmental lines Girls start copying Mum and doing more maternal things, Boys start copying dad more and doing more exuberant things and only start really getting reunited with each other when puberty takes effect.
Jazz never got to enter that point because of Puberty blockers and isolation, so while they have a part of there brain going FUCK SOMETHING!!!!!! they havent developed a ideal of what to fuck, they have a brain of a young male thats been fed hormones since a young age of the other sex so while they might not like the blokes they are presented they are not all that hot on the women thats presented (even more so with the trans situation) in other words they can't really make there mind up on the situation, and anyone they do find attractive and willing to date them would have to take on there whole family, TV crew and PR to boot and pass certain tests narrowing it down even more.
TLDR: There might be 8 billion people in the world and match for Jazz, but non of them will pass the vetting from the family and media.
