Ok so ignore my brainfart. A branch of anycolor that i haven't figured out if its the chinese or niji, that let people go had talents tweet out their feelings of being let go. Apparently they lied about why. Saying money but really for being perceived dangers, this is what one of them leaked out, showing them telling staff to not delete the tweets as it would bring more to attention? Or something. And for the other talents to ignore it. Or maybe it is yumenographia . I thought that was just vtuber software. I don't fucking know. If you can make something out of it, ve my guest. I jusy hope the company hasn't fucked up terribly and damned all of the talents with some executive bullshit

Ok. I think I've narrowed it down..

Its talking about yumenographia.

yumenographia was a virtual maid cafe vr thing. They hired a cast to work in it. The cast was deemed "perceived danger" aka "were not running a whorehouse"



So what happened is they shut down that. Staff working on that, pissed that they lost their jobs rageposted about anycolors bullshit reason and lying about the real reason for its discontinuation. Other people (other staff or the nijigirls im not sure) were getting affected. Either by angry users of the service going berserk now that couldn't interact with their waifus in the virtual cafe thing, or staff attacking other people in the company, and complained. They said do not engage, don't draw more attention. And it was buried under the rug. Until this. IF ifs real.



Tldr, anycolor refused to learn that sex sells and it backfired.

Apparently Yumenographia is doing well, but management thought that the talents could be going to their costumers with "additional services" for extra cash
Of course as a company, no one wants to be associated with prostitution, but management also thought it would be too wasteful to devote any more money to ensure that neither the talents nor the costumers are able to get private information, hence them just cutting the project off.

The main issue though is that Niji got caught lying as to why they were going to layoff around 50+ talents and their only response is by sending every one an email saying "Don't post on Twitter or we will sue"

Also, one thing of note, a leak is extremely dangerous for a group or company. Why? Because if you ever have a leak, there's going to be another leak in the future, don't know when and how big, there's going to be another. It's inevitable

The thing is, that service is a hostess service, and anyone with a working brain would knew there are some loopholes people used in hostess/host bar to also moonlight as prostitutes. The fact that Ichikara didn't realize that implication in the first place is weird and suspicious for me

Its also important to remember that the Japanese, due to their culture of saving face, hated anything that could be seen as related to "anti-social behaviour or group" in public. I dunno if there's anything particularly unique about Anycolor's MO on this, if anything it seems like pretty standard Japanese business damage control BS: sweep it under the rug, gag everyone possible and, if that doesn't work, have a press conference and dogeza to recover as many good boy points as possible. Yumenographia was definitely a unique concept, especially for the pandemic, but once stockholders start asking questions that risk tainting the brand, that's kind of game over. You either comply, and as a Japanese business of course you will, and this happens, or you keep pushing and the issue becomes worse in the long run as more people start acting like you're in Kabukicho.

You're referring to Sayo Amemori, she was gonna have her 3D debut on the 10th. Call it a cope if you wanna, but at least in her case I think I can totally believe it's a personal issue; she's one of the rarer streamers in Nijisanji (one of the best-known cases of that being Gilzaren III, who's usually watching others' streams more than streaming himself) and, if you take a look at her channel, you can see that she streams very rarely, with gaps sometimes being as long as 4+ months with no streams. While there are cases where it could be suspicious for sure, her lack of activity seems to make it reasonable that her schedule may just no longer allow for a date that may have been set up a while back.
