America doesn't have a gun culture so much as we have a violence culture. We could get really violent with or without guns, and that's in peacetime and just for fun. With all the wars we've had, including the World Wars, the one with the most casualties was where we decided to just start killing each other.

If you took away our guns we'd just start killing each other with other shit.

It's a problem with our culture and pretending some dumb bullshit like "gun control" will somehow fix it is laughable utopian bullshit. Whoever thinks that bullshit would work has no idea of how many levels of murder every American is living on, from the weakest soyboy to the biggest most bulked-up Rambo.

The idea that banning AR15s some how stopped mass shootings is one of those pants on the head exceptional things the far left generally believes in the US. The reality as you stated the Australians "solved" something that was never a problem in the first place.

Also in the aftermath of the ban a gun called the Remington 7615P which was unloved in the US became massively popular in Australia.

It's a pump action .223 caliber rifle that accepts AR15 magazines.

That's humanity in general. Anytime people bring up just removing guns I ask how peaceful and murder free the world was pre gunpowder. Less kumbaya than people would want to imagine, typically.

Comparing gun control in fucking Switzerland which has like 10 million people and is the size of Idaho to America's 330 million plus 30 million illegals is completly disingenuous, and they know it.
