A good outcome for the surgery (and by good outcome I mean, less complications, functional urethra and maybe the possibility of standing up to pee) depends entirely of "anatomical cooperativeness".

I lost the post to reply to/quote, but these are skin grafts. (phalloplasty) they get most sensation from the wound bed, not from the donor site. they wouldn't feel like something was touching their arm when they touch the phallus.

phantom penis and scrotum pain is common among MTF though- any amputation will see a pretty high rate with this. I'm sure it's not enjoyable.

Working in academia, scientific papers are always not truthful and filled with false report to appease the publishers. These papers are filled with too many statement I doubt it is even true.

Jesus Christ, ONLY 19 years old! A clearly mentally unstable young woman was allowed to have her sex organs removed because of a crazy identity in her head. Therapy was never an option. It goes straight to genital multilation. Absolutely horrifying!
