Had Newsom been seen? Last I heard was rumors he had a bad vaccine reaction and not been seen in weeks, and then heard nothing about him since. I wasn't sure if that's cause he hadn't been seen still, and they are keeping it quiet, or because it wasn't nothing and he just hasn't been in the news.

Also, I'm kinda amazed how little noise is being made over the Wisconsin results, even outside of the mainstream that would like to bury it.

He's been around unfortunately, recently he talked about making California an abortion sanctuary state and how much better 'we' are at following the Science than Florida. I personally think the booster did put him on his ass a lot longer than he'd have liked but he's probably not secretly dead or comatose or something. And with election fraud I think we're just at the point where everybody is so polarized over it it would take nothing less than Kamala Harris suddenly whistleblowing everything and then promptly resigning for anything to change from the stalemate we're in now where half the country just says the election was stolen (but frankly isn't 100% sure about it enough to do anything besides January 6th) and the other just shouts BIG LIE over it all.

The procedurally creative deal between McConnell and Schumer used a bill preventing Medicare cuts as a vehicle for language allowing the Senate to increase the debt limit via a simple majority vote on a one time basis. The Thursday afternoon vote pushed that bill past the 60-vote cloture hurdle, setting up a simple majority vote on final passage either later Thursday or Friday.

I believe it was Gehenna who foolishly held out hope that McConnell would not just bitch out again.
