Dogs can be cute and fun to be around, kevin can never be either of those things, therefore kevin is not a dog.

Nor is he, in fact, even an animal.

I have come to the conclusion that Kevin gibes is instead some sort of mobile carnivorous plant evolved for low light conditions.

The sedentary lifestyle, not going outside very often, luring others towards his home with insidious lies and traps? Both his constant tweeting and foul smell are to lure in his desired prey.

The Amhole is the real mouth, the mouth on Kevin's head is simply a decoy to make humans less likely to suspect kevin as not one of thier own.
