I’d be more impressed by her opinions on Hispanic people if she genuinely identified with them. What I see is a white girl peppering her speech with a few Spanish words because she just remembered, “Oh yeah, I’m Latinks.”
Oddly enough, considering she was raised by Cuban immigrants and only found out she was adopted when she was an adult, of all the oppressed identities Becky puts on being Latina is the one I can understand the most. She thought she was, after all.
The fact that her parents were immigrants and still able to adopt shows they must have been of exceedingly good character and at the very least financially stable.
It's way less common than it used to be. Powerlevel, I worked at a game studio for 8 years and maybe did overtime 3 times, and no one was napping on floors. If I experienced crunch in my first month, I would've left and found a new job, not stayed there for almost a decade. I never came in on a weekend once. Maybe the industry was like that 15 years ago, but it's really not like that now. Most studios with competent management recognize crunch as a result of poor planning, so they try to avoid it. I don't currently know anyone who works at Respawn so I don't know what their schedule is like, but I think Bex is just fishing for sympathy with this one.
She's probably exhausted because she's probably waking up multiple times per hour because she's probably got sleep apnea because she's definitely fucking fat.
I think if you commit a particularly heinous crime you should be sentenced to be in one of Basic Becky's dreams every night. If it's a sex crime, it should be one of her sex dreams.

Yeah, not to sperg out unduly concerning a topic of personal interest, but the early to middle 00s were especially bad in the games industry. You had a lot of companies still trying to apply 90s production methods to teams and projects that had massively ballooned in size. Those were the days when Microsoft sent Rod Fergusson to Epic Games in hopes of rescuing Gears of War, and he found that Epic had exactly one producer on staff, splitting his time between Gears and Unreal III.
Yup. I'll try to keep this on topic, but the infamous EA Spouse letter was 17 years ago. Any industry would experience big changes in 17 years. There's now a whole generation of workers in the game industry who were born when Majora's Mask came out.
