What Video caused you to stop watching a Youtuber?

I started watching Pewdiepie when he stopped doing games, but once he returned to Minecraft, I stopped watching him. I haven't subscribed -nor I plan to do it- and I'm ok with him doing the content he wants to do, but I haven't been able to hook up with his content again.

The YTer I did quit was Nailogical. She's in fact a smart woman who's kept her IRL work and has now created her own nail polish brand, which I think it's great and most YTers should do too, but I can't stand the hypocrisy, nor her stupid boyfriend who's just a cuck. Both are Canadian and liberal: they aren't SJWs and they are in fact political incorrect and very aware of the problems of extreme progressivenes, but there was one moment when they were talking about richness when the boyfriend said he was against taxing rich people who have worked hard to get their money, but it was fine if this money was inherited. The catch is that they are the typical millenial couple that has decided to not have kids and have cats instead. Again, good for them that they have became rich due to Youtube, but they are basically saying it'd be wrong that they are taxed, but would be ok if my children do only because they didn't work for the money I worked hard for them to make, and this is because they don't have children themselves.

Stopped watching TheAnimeMan not long after he posted the video announcing he was done with gaming, which was the main reason I’d subbed to him in the first place. His content became dry, not to mention constantly showing off Aki as his girlfriend got annoying fast.

the only one I can think of is a guy who literally just made compilations of walking the 2B2T highways and seeing what was on them, but afaik he doesn't upload anymore.

I haven't actually engaged with many channels that fell to endless gay politisperging, but I did stop watching EZScape around the time the Apollo Legend fiasco happened and this site got raided by trannies trying to pretend that modern speedrunning isn't a disease-infested shithole that attracts the worst kind of people imaginable. It was a shame because until EZscape started pulling that retarded 'I'm not going to take any sides but Apollo is a big gay meanie and should stop telling my sisters to not be lazy kikes all day' shtick, I thought his content was pretty decent. It's not like he ever stopped being high quality either, I just can't in good conscience support a grifter of his caliber.

Anyways, I stopped watching Coyote Peterson of Brave Wilderness when he did a double whammy: Inviting our deserter-in-chief Biden to do a special on vaccines. A dollar store yankee knockoff of Steve Irwin, selling out to a goddamn puppet. This absolutely sent me to the unsubscribe button, but it brings up a broader talking point about the psychology of YouTubers: It's the same exact cycle that Hollywood went through during its infancy, except weaker. What makes these people think they are hot shit enough for commercializing out the ass? They think they are so good they can start revealing their politics instead of just shutting the fuck up, knowing their places, and doing their "jobs".

Watched Jeff Holiday until he, out of nowhere, said "trans rights!" I forget which video because it had nothing to do with the topic. This is someone whose entire channel is about debunking pseudoscience, cults and moneymaking scams, and then he throws around vapid slogans (with no arguments) in support of all three. That tells me that there are some pseudoscience claims that he won't challenge or examine, and will actually support, either because he's inconsistent, a hypocrite or a coward afraid of social pressure.

I liked Hbomberguy's media analysis as background noise and the daft skits he did, but he's pretty much given up on that and whines on and on about how the Father Ted guy is the worst person ever because he doesn't like people castrating autistic kids.

I don't have a problem with YouTubers talking about their politics, I like watching debates and discussions where they make actual arguments and back them up. But I cannot be fucked with people who think it's important that their viewers all know their opinions on completely unrelated bullshit.

I stopped actively watching him after the Rice Gum videos in 2017 because every video after those were more boring than watching paint dry, but this video told me Idubbbz was a gross cuck who gets extremely pissy when people mock him and that the Idubbbz of old that made funny, edgy, interesting videos was dead and gone.

Most of the time I just get bored of someone's content and move on. There are only a few cases where one thing got me to leave. The obvious: Game Grumps after Jontron left. H3H3 after they abandoned the skits for a podcast.

I dropped Jim Sterling well before the tranny saga. I've felt his content was obnoxiously repetitive and unoriginal for a long time, but the final straw was a video he did previewing some game. It was him doing narration over previously recorded gameplay. The video gets to a clip where he's doing nothing and he mentions that he was supposed to edit that out but forgot to. Nothing prevented him from editing it out after he recorded the narration. He just didn't want to. It's been years and I still remember how lazy that was.

This last one is recent and kind of stupid. Earlier in the year, Youtube recommended me a bunch of scambaiter channels. The setup is that someone pretends to be an unsuspecting victim of those shitty popup/email/telemarketing scams to waste the scammer's time doing humorous things. Most of the phone and online ones are run out of 2020's world super power. One channel, Pleasant Green, tends to go after the email and Craigslist scammers who are often based out of some African country. Unlike the other scambaiters, he would try to improve the scammer's actual life in an (often fruitless) effort to convince them to earn an honest living. This is despite the fact that the scammers are ruthless people who have no issue frauding the elderly/dimwitted out of their life savings and when pressed about it, use racism to justify it. One of Pleasant Green's videos covered a scammer soliciting marks by posing as a female porn star looking to shoot with random people. When he put up a photo of the porn star, she was wearing clothing branded with blacked shit. I don't know if he does the video editing himself or if the photo was shared by the scammer, but this raised alarm bells to me. It made me uneasy questioning if this fairly lanky white man wasn't just being altruistic in trying to help these Africans find actual work. It was also fucking weird, because the channel is borderline PG (with censored cursing) and here's a direct reference to a porn site. I'd rather watch Jim Browning's autism assaults on pajeets or Kitboga's elderly woman impressions.
