Serial killer fangirls

Not with that haircut he ain't, girlfriend.

Two killers that I enjoy are Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo. Their nickname is the Ken and Barbie killers. Paul was known as the Scarborough rapist but no one ever died until he met Karla.
As an pre wedding present, Karla drugged her 15 year old sister and both people raped her while they videotaped everything. Unfortunately she aspirated vomit and died. That death was like pulling out the cork, and they later kidnapped, raped, and murdered two more teen girls.
Karla is on the streets because of a controversial sweetheart deal where she testified against her husband.

Disgusting.

As long as you maintain a mindset of "these are bad people who did bad things," you're okay. It's pretty normal to want to learn about people so abnormal. But you always need to remember that these are not admirable people, nor are they misunderstood.

If you have to remind yourself that they're bad and not to be admired when indulging in it, it's already too late.

While I'm glad the comment below got more upvotes,

Those other upvotes were from other people who thought the responding party were in agreement with the first comment, here's how they interpreted it; "Elliot Roger is cute", "Yeah, he killed 7 people!"

It appeared to those voters that he was reinforcing the sentiment, not to rebuke it. You thought humanity had hope.

That's the kid who when he escaped naked into the streets, the fucking cops took him back to Dahmer, who finished him off, despite bystanders being horrified.

Were they ever held accountable for what they fucking did or did they totally get away with that irresponsible intentional bullshit? He was visibly bleeding from his anus. That wasn't incompetence, that was deliberate.

Wasn't there a book released a while back that was about evil killer dictators like Hitler and Stalin, only they were all drawn as moe anime girls?

You're thinking about those shitty trading cards that were translated to English via a Kickstarter. I like how a lot of people are white knighting this shit in this very thread by calling it encyclopedic 'n shit when it's obviously designed to be titillating.

I wonder what Richard or Gacy would think if they saw these

Gacy would give endless approval and try to strike up a friendship with the author. Gacy was everyone's buddy during his days in prison; any straw he could grasp at to get out of prison.

Many sociopaths, though, are remarkably successful at short-term sex hookups. I suppose Elliot was an unsuccessful sociopath, since he had many sociopathic traits but lacked the superficial charm others have.

He would then qualify as a psychopath rather than a sociopath. The difference is in intelligence and social skills; sociopaths are the charismatic, successful types and psychopaths are the irrational ones that can't hold a job.

I've studied the whole serial killer groupie thing for criminology classes before and it's exactly as fucked up as it sounds. For those women it's the ultimate persecution complex + celebrity + bad boy + 'I can save him with love' relationship.

You forgot the most important factor; the power. People who gravitate toward abusive, violent and murderous people do it because that violence is a display of power and by getting close to the source of that power, one has a share in wielding it.

it's mostly a joke.

Now I've been 11 pages in, and I have yet to see any love for the Unabomber.
guess 12 year olds hate reading papers and stories that bash on their liberal beliefs or something.

It's because there's no power display in sending an anonymous bomb in the mail to fuck with scientific progress by killing scientists. Oh yes, the Unabomber was a genius but there's nothing intimate about the way he killed. It was calculated like math, it was sterile like mouthwash, it was efficient like a machine.

Look at all the retards out there who cried about how guys like the Columbine Kids were misunderstood and bullied. They weren't. Harris and Klebold were human garbage their whole miserable lives.

I don't know where you're getting this from but Klebold was a bully victim and Harris took advantage of it. Make no mistake, they were not truly friends. Klebold was a tool to Harris; Harris was the sociopath of the duo.

Even having a regular roommate was enough to drive me to drink. One who reads Infowars would drive me to drink until I ripped out their guts and David Crosby'd myself with their liver to prevent cirrhosis.

This, after talking about how abhorrent and irredeemable spree shooters are. That's in shit fucking taste.

The account has long since been deleted so you guys will just have to trust me on this, but some years back on dA I found a fic, written in all seriousness, about mpreg Josef Mengele having an anal miscarriage. The rest of the authors gallery consisted of nothing but fanart and fic treating actual real life Nazis as yaoi bishies from an animu or something. I shit you not.

Finding that was one of those moments where you know you've finally seen it all.

The most recent episode of American Horror Story had depictions of Ramirez, Dahmer, and Gacy (As ghosts. It's complicated). Along with Alieen Wuornos. Eugh. Wonder if she has any fangirls or boys. For the most part, it was pretty well acted and portrayed, so I wonder if it got any attention from these sickos.

I'll admit, I have an interest in serial killers. But it's purely from a "Oh God how can someone so fucked up even exist" fascination standpoint and not "Omg Ted Bundy is my husbando and I draw a bunch of kawaii fanart of him and Gacy together." In fact, when I was a teenager I did a random google search of Ted Bundy, only to find an entire LiveJournal page devoted to him, completely with icons and everything. Finding that was surreal to say the least.

I read Night Stalker (by Phillip Carlo) which is about Richard Ramirez, and part of a chapter discussed the fan visits and fan-mail he got before & during his trial. The author summarized some of the girls' letters to him with all the ugly details. Some wanted to have sex with him on top of the corpses of recent victims. Others wanted to drink blood together. Some were self-proclaimed Satanists maladjusted in more ways than one.

Just goes to show that sick fucks attract more sick fucks.

I've seen Richard Ramirez fangirls, they definitely exist. A lot of the serial killers in that episode have fans, especially Jeffery Dahmer. I noticed even AHS couldn't refrain from portraying him as romantic but crazy. I have some slight empathy for Dahmer because he had a lot of problems growing up, but I am baffled by people who seem to find him romantic in any way.

He crudely lobotomised young (even underaged) guys after drugging and kidnapping them so he could have a sex slave that would be incapable of leaving, not because he was super romantic and just wanted a boyfriend who would never leave him.

Pretty sure that if he'd been straight and doing this to women people would be less eager to romanticise him and would see him as more of a creeper.

Of course, he'd still have fangirls and fanboys.

I read biographies and saw a documentary (with interviews) about Dahmer. Creepy as hell, considering his motives and what he did to the bodies. He wanted to build a throne/shrine of human bones, too.
