Joe Rogan is anathema to the angry part of the political left, which is where Ethan has wandered his way into. He said some stuff that implied vaccines weren't necessary, jumped on the Ivermectin craze, and I'm sure you can find videos of him that make Twitter cry "transphobe." Leftists have boycotted the show because they don't want to get hate for appearing on it, and now they consider it a place where right wing fringe thought thrives.

Therefore, Joe Rogan is evil, stupid and doesn't deserve his audience, according to Ethan & friends.

I think it was the first employee they hired and he's like a huge bernie fan, I think he's also like this: "My political opinions are the absolute truth and I scoff at any other idea". Ethan definitely got influenced a lot by dan. Dan also usually corrects him on a lot of facts, so it makes sense that he would believe Dan holds the absolute truth. Not to mention how easy Ethan would be to defeat in an argument. When they met they eventually must've started talking about Trump, which must've sparked Dan to start going all political on Ethan but in a friendly way. That's how he became a champagne socialist. Of course Ethan already was quite self righteous starting at least from the Leafy rant, which I think came from insecurity over the fact that he was no different from this younger guy having way more success. I must be a sucker for punishment but I wanted to watch the clips they’re referencing. I ended up watching this with a hmm face plastered on me non stop at how weird their views are when you are absolutely anyone in the world who isn’t in their little ‘Jew bourgeoisie’.

Armchair psych: What Ethan does is best described as starting with a general non-rational theory which helps him feel progressive and a good boy and waiting for people to offer new data to disprove his stale gossip. Generally, the hinged rational beings who like his money but hate his Jew face keep quiet through the show because it’s always Ethan’s show and Ethan must be the hero.
They’re often just sighing relief that at least with a podcast he can live his comedian fantasy to dumb kids.
