I'm not going to take more "strategically reasonable" losses. The world we're starting to see is not a world I want to live in, and we're running out of hills to "reasonably" abandon. And this is obviously not even about vaccines anymore, but how it's being used as a tool of compliance and the ushering in of biosecurity to expand the post-9/11 surveillance system.Read the rest of the post, even if we'd agree that it should be the hill to die on it just seems to not be strategically reasonable to do so. It's not even the worst thing the government ever did and I'm frankly surprised that there's so many people who only seem to care about the vaccines and nothing else. If I'm truly honest I'd probably take the tard juice every 3 months if in turn the government finally deports criminal "asylum seekers" leeching off the social system since 2015 with multiple identities (and shuts up about Corona once and for all).
The problem with making such a deal is that it's always going to be a deal with the devil. You always lose freedom and never gain security.
I believed that the Jan 20th CDC recommendation to drop the cycle threshold in PCR testing would lead to this scenario. The "good ending" would be that omicron is used by governments to peter out Covid measures in a way that saves face. We still don't have a single confirmed omicron death in the whole world, and for all I care they can chalk that up to the vaccines working, but it could mean we're heading towards normalcy in 2022 as Covid becomes endemic.
It didn't happen. Like asked earlier, "what then?". What happens when we're here in December 2022 and this didn't stop?
