I showed him "real honesty" all the time. I called him out when he was being stupid all the time and tried to steer him in a better direction. So did multiple others before me.

^ my response to him when he started speedrunning Battle For Bikini Bottom. The top speedrunners were not happy about him coming to their community. They felt like he would bring drama and chaos.

I told him so many times how his actions are why he is discussed in places like this. It's not rocket science. If he didn't do exceptional shit, people here would have nothing to talk about. It's all a ploy for attention from him. He's told me so many times that his biggest fear is being forgotten. I mean he's not especially good at anything - drawing, singing, voice acting, speedrunning - his talents in the things he's interested in are mediocre to mid-level. I truly believe he got into his head after SGDQ2014 that the only way for him to never be forgotten is to keep doing the only behavior that gets him noticed.

One of the harsh realities of life is that everybody is a nobody, including you. The vast, vast majority of people will be forgotten as soon as they’re dead, if not before.
The only way to deal is to accept it and get the fuck on with your life. Once you stop trying to be somebody, you can at least be you.
