I saw Gura was trending on twitter and a qrt of this tweet (archive) was one the first things I saw when I scrolled down. I don't use twitter much but this is probably the first time I've straight up seen a hololive roommate on trending. Though I don't believe this roommate was ever confirmed, I haven't really been in the know (I stopped following every page of this thread around page 1800).

The seethe is kinda funny ngl, though this guy is obviously a pedo creep. Twittards spamming his QRTs just made it trend even harder. They literally shot themselves in the foot.

This is kiwifarms, I don't think it's forbidden and personally view it as a relevant aspect of streamers as long as someone's not being a doxfag just trying to mobilize a personal army or some shit. But I think its just part of the discussion and can be helpful as well in the case of maybe someone's a piece of shit or something behind the avatar or maybe it helps someone understand someone else's perspective more.

Maybe put it behind spoiler tags though if it's dealing with irl shit so you don't break anyone's immersion and any traceable info should be put behind members only tags (iirc?) so that lurkers can't trawl the thread too easily.

I don't normally agree with you but I can agree with this. When your sexuality or gender expression is your major defining trait as a person, you probably don't have much else going for you.

They all refer to chat as both "chat" and their fan name's (chumbies, teammates, etc). It's not exclusive to Mori.

Going back to the chat interaction, unless you're an oil baron like Brom or some other known whales, it's impossible to interact with Gura. I try to watch her whenever she's live but I decided to stay off the chat because why bother.

I do enjoy smaller vtubers for this exact reason. They can have an easier time interacting and replying to chat. Pippa mentioned that this is what she enjoyed the most and in part she doesnt like collabs so much because she has to ignore chat for the most part to talk to the other person.

A weird thought crossed my mind the other day randomly about Sana. How sure are we it was her dog that died and not her "dog". There are a few members that are fairly open with their family, if there are health issues, etc. But take Watame for instance. One day she suddenly drops her Grandma had passed away a while back, which shocked everyone considering everyone assumed she was still alive. And at the very least was alive when Watame started streaming.

It just made me wonder how likely it was that she was using the dog as an analogy to not come across as overly depressing to her chat.

Sorry, you're right. That's more of a /vt/ perspective. I meant more along the lines of talking about the characters is fine, as is generalized stuff about the talents (how can we not discuss Amelia's crazy past stories of perilous injuries?), but if it goes to levels of actual personal life invasion, that's not cool. Hopefully that makes more sense

Edit: Learning Pippa's irl address falls under the category of personal doxing, in my opinion. I don't want that for any talent (well...was Artia ever talented, though?). They all have a right to live a normal life. Well, as normal as a Vtuber's life can be, that is...
