US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Speaking of corpo. news media, Newsmax has made it clearer that they are controlled opposition. Even more so when they forced Emerald to resign.

The only person worth watching on Newsmax is Steve Cortes, but he's a better political commentator when he works solo.
Its that dude in a blazer that sometimes Newsmax brings on as a contributor when they talk about Trump, apparently he claims to be like close to Trump.

Still its important to note that most media is basically war hungry.

On a side note, Elon Musk roasting Liz Warren for being a total fraud was kino.

hahahaha, he looks so pathetic..."look out pal!" Just imagine if we had a honest, credible media, this "presidency" would be smashed down every hour as the most laughable, pathetic and incompetent administration in history.
If we had an honest and credible media we wouldn't have Biden as president in the first place.

The guy really thinks he is going to win the midterms? When a ton of people are noticing that they are paying more for groceries than they did under Trump?
Well he apparently also said he wants Democrats to be the ones to count the votes and that HR1 would allow that but those darn dumb Senate Republicans keep blocking debate to pass his bill. Luckily he put Harris in charge of the effort, so it's probably worse than dead somehow. That bitch takes incompetence to a new level.

Didn't both Biden and his wife appear at rallies during the Virginia election and it did shit there
The entire boomer Democrat establishment campaigned for McAuliffe. The Bidens, both Clintons, they even got Obama to take a break hobnobbing with Hollywood to come out and campaign for it. And it did next to nothing.

Even more so when they forced Emerald to resign.
They fired my newsfu? Then to blazes with them.

With "conservative" media like this, who needs libtards?

Its going to be funny watching them dragg out celebrities for the midterms. And people are going to be like "shut up Dicaprio, I can't buy food for my family!!! I dont care if your candidate surpports fighting climate change!!"

From CNN: 11 Democrats who could replace Joe Biden in 2024

(CNN) — Combine President Joe Biden's age (he'll be 82 shortly after the 2024 election) and his ongoing political struggles (he's mired in the low 40s in job approval) and you get this: a series of stories examining whether Biden runs again and, if not, who might take his place.

We are in the midst of just one of those news cycles, with The New York Times publishing a big takeout on the potential Biden replacements within the Democratic Party over the weekend.

The White House, aware of the whispers, made clear Biden is planning to go for a second term. "The President has every intention of running for reelection," White House press secretary Jen Psaki said on Monday.

But ... what if Biden's plans change? Below, a look at the most commonly mentioned names for 2024 contenders and a single line on their viability.

* Kamala Harris: She's undoubtedly struggled as vice president but she's still the most likely Democrat not named Biden to wind up as the Democratic nominee in 2024.

* Pete Buttigieg: The most naturally talented candidate in the 2024 field, "Mayor Pete" has also been front and center selling Biden's infrastructure bill.

* Elizabeth Warren: The Massachusetts senator is still popular among liberals -- and wouldn't be splitting the vote with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders this time around like she did in 2020.

* Amy Klobuchar: Other than Buttigieg, the Minnesota senator was probably the best regarded of the losing candidates in 2020 -- and her Midwest roots are always a plus given the electoral map.

* Roy Cooper: Term-limited out of office in 2024, the North Carolina governor has ample time to consider his next step -- starting with his service as the vice chairman of the Democratic Governors Association.

* Mitch Landrieu: Being tasked with implementing the infrastructure bill is a big (and high-profile) job that the former New Orleans mayor has taken to with relish.

* Gina Raimondo: She made the leap from Rhode Island governor to Biden administration commerce secretary but doubts remain as to whether she is too moderate to win a Democratic primary in this moment.

* Gretchen Whitmer: The Michigan governor needs to win what could be a tough reelection race next year before she can turn to considering a national run in earnest.

* Phil Murphy: The record of New Jersey governors running for president isn't great of late (sorry, Chris Christie!) but Murphy could use the next few years of his governorship as a testing ground for some national policies for the party.

* J.B. Pritzker: Pritzker has two things going for him -- 1) He's the governor of a major Midwestern state (Illinois) and 2) he's very, very rich.

* Stacey Abrams: Abrams talked openly about running in 2020 before passing on the race; but she needs to win the Georgia governor's mansion in 2022 before thinking too much about 2024.

The Point: If Biden decides not to run, chances are we would be looking at a very crowded field of Democrats seeking to replace him.

This is a horrible list, and I'm speaking as a Democrat without the right-wing politics. Literally who's in a former Rhode Island governor, and the architect of Pork Bill. Then for Midwest shills, we have that lardass Pritzker, and Whitmer?! Chris Cillizza is a winner, indeed.

Lol at Newsom for being so toxic, he isn't even brought up. My money's still on Gav though. Either way, this list is a preview of jokers who are an Obama-phone call away from suddenly jobbing.

What happen to all the upcoming obamas? This list is shit

I had lunch with a relative yesterday at a local restaurant for the first time in three months. The price of a six piece chicken tendie dinner had increased from $8.99 to $11.99, a 30% increase. It was quite the sticker shock, since I mostly cook/prepare my own food. Have fast food prices also increased in the same period of time?

Let's go through our options here...

>Kamala
Absolute non-starter. Kamala supporters don't exist outside of Twitter and you can't convince me otherwise.
>Buttigieg
Blacks and Hispanics don't like the idea of voting for a gay white guy. If he is the nominee it will result in even more minority voters flaking off. Republicans can also bring up the paternity leave stunt and emphasize how supply shortages brought the economic recovery to a halt under Buttigieg's watch.
>Warren
She was always a fringe option (like all other progressive candidates in the primary) and things haven't been going her way in government lately. Both of her picks for the Federal Reserve - Comrade Omarova and Lael Brainard - were both given the thumbs down by her fellow Democrats. And remember the Pocahontas shit?
>Klobuchar
Well, if Biden doesn't die before 2024 and the Democrats want a woman president for real this time... they could do worse than Klobuchar. One problem with Klobuchar though, which could resurface after a hypothetical nomination, is that she abuses her staff. I'd probably have more things to critique her about if I could remember anything about Klobuchar from the 2020 primary, which I don't.
>Cooper
Who? Okay but seriously, I have long thought that the Democratic Party might resort to nominating a Governor because they have no other candidates left.
>Landrieu
As with Cooper, his name is uh... not well-known on the national stage. Which is the problem with a lot of these potential nominees - a lot of Americans haven't heard of these people. Trump is the polar opposite.
>Raimondo
If the DNC gets to the stage of nominating a random fucko like "Gina Raimondo" they might as well just not run a candidate at all in 2024. There's no law saying they have to participate in the election, you know...
>Whitmer
Lol. She fucked up the Covid response in Michigan bad.
>Murphy
Nah nah nah nah. Murphy needs to stay in New Jersey. He needs to keep his seat so the Dems can keep that incumbency advantage, otherwise Ciattarelli might actually beat his Lieutenant Governor in 2025.
>Pritzker
Remember Mike fucking Bloomberg shit for brains??? You can spend all the money you want on your campaign, but if you're a corrupt (which he definitely is, it's Illinois) rich asshole nobody will like you.
>Abrams
You... what? So either Abrams would be asked to resign early from being Governor to run for President - and recall she's spent years grifting about that Governor seat - or she would be asked to run for President even though she's been beat twice by Republicans in a blue state. Not happening.

Okay so tl;dr this list is shit and everyone on it is either bad for various reasons or is a nobody who would simply be unable to compete with Trump for attention. Newsom isn't on this list but if he ran for President and got nominated the landslide would be fucking historical.

* J.B. Pritzker: Pritzker has two things going for him -- 1) He's the governor of a major Midwestern state (Illinois) and 2) he's very, very rich.
Why the fuck does Cillizza note Porky’s wealth as a positive?? Because of campaign self-finance potential? Is he that out of touch that he’s oblivious to the growing anti-personal wealth/pro-“revolution”/“eat the rich” horseshit that’s emanating from the DNC and especially its (primarily younger) supporters? I mean, it’s mostly hypocritical tripe as the people who believe it are well-off themselves, but still…

Even though the DNC is a-okay with rich members, voters, donors, etc. in private, they’re really trying to shake up their public image as it relates to this. I.e., they no longer want to be seen as the dress shirt-wearing Cuomo-esque DNC, but rather the polo shirt & khaki-wearing Buttigieg-esque DNC that eschews The Rich™. They’ll never honestly live up to that, though. Money talks.

>Klobuchar
I'd probably have more things to critique her about if I could remember anything about Klobuchar from the 2020 primary, which I don't.
She admitted to eating her salad with a comb after yelling at a staffer for not bringing her a fork.

I will always have an image of this dowdy Karen with a Midwestern accent being a total bitch to some poor idiot in between her munching on lettuce she brought to her mouth with a hair comb.

Absolutely disgusting. No way I could ever vote for her, under any circumstance.

I love it when he tries to act/sound tough and indignant. It never works as his handlers intend, and he just winds up sounding like the cranky geriatric that he is. What an ass.
Lol even when he says shit that is, quite frankly terrifying on a macro level, he himself isn't intimidating. And he already got us all over that hill back in spring when he implicitly threatened to use nuclear weapons against 2A supporters with his "we have f15s and nukes" and "no amendment is absolute" talk. If you already know some demented loon is willing to nuke you and your country to the stone age because you told him to fuck off on his attempts to change the constitution, what else is there to be afraid of? That's not a man to fear, that's a man to remove.

Wasn't it Swalwell who threatened to nuke 2A supporters, the one who was banging a CCP spy?

Yep, he did. But then Biden did so as well this year which to me is a bit scarier that the leader of the free world says dumb shit like that as well.
I agree Trump may have said shit. But he never actually threatened American citizens. The only ones were BLM and Antifa and those were thugs the media were trying to portrayed as heroes.

I'd like to see Newsom '24 out of morbid curiosity, he's essentially a male Kamala who only got where he is because he was born into the San Francisco good 'ol boy's club and I still have faith/hopium that he'll do as well outside California as you'd expect from that. I have a feeling he'll just go for Senator after his last Governor's term is up though.
