Best intentions, trusting government and advisers and erring on the side of caution could all be used as rational and understandable explanations to why people masked up and locked down in April 2020. But now? With 18 months of evidence, from trusted governments, experts and advisers. 3 to 4 lockdowns later, almost a year of masking in some places, 2 jabs, a booster and the vast majority of the public following lockdowns, restrictions, working from home and social distancing and are we better off? No.

Not only that, we're worse off now, than we were in April 2020. For example, The UK reported today a record number of daily cases - the reason is because they're testing the bollox off of the population to try and make omicron sound worse than it is, but let's go with their word that there are now MORE covid cases. How is this possible? Herd immunity, masks, social distancing, the boosters, killing off 200k of the most vulnerable, jabs and lockdowns have led us to a worse position than we were back before we did any of it.

I am anti-covid measures and anti-jabs, but I like to see the other side of the coin for reasons I may be over looking. What justification, what logical reasoning is there to keep on the course we're on, when all evidence points to it not working? You can't even use the 'pussy, just get the jab' 'it's all the unvaxxed fault', as most countries have more people vaxxed now than they did 3, 6 and 12 months ago.

Well I think it makes sense that a government organization might lie to its citizens about a multitude of things especially this one since its only been out for a couple of months and went through “rigorous testing and heavy regulation.” The government would like to have those good numbers so they can at least feel better about themselves without realizing the potential repercussions of such a “safe and effective” vaccine without having the time to really figure out long-term effects.
