I doubt Phil is actually staying in the hospital, I'd imagine they took him there, waited a few hours in the waiting room, he got some higher strength asthma medication applied via a nebulizer or something, and they sent him on home. It sounds dramatic to say WE HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL but this was more than likely just a case of needing medicine any doctor could have applied, but not being able to do a walk-in somewhere else. Idk if theres an urgent care anywhere closer than the hospital.

Most Americans would probably stick it out and be miserable until they could see a regular doctor or Urgent Care due to the costs of casually taking a jaunt to the hospital (even with good insurance, that shit will disproportionately overcharge you for what mostly amounts to five minutes of a doctor zooming through your room and prescribing a very basic medicine), but knowing most troons Phil is probably doing this on taxpayer dime.
