Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

2020 was a wide-open primary against someone -viewed- as a weak president by the left. Meaning it was anyone's game to beat him, and the Establishment (at the start) had no favored candidate. Anyone and everyone who had any form of presidential ambition was in that race. There are no new up-and-comers to fill out new ranks. The 2020 list -is- the 2024 list.

Trump is probably the winner of the 2014 GOP primaries.

I assume this time he will sweep all 50 state primaries and no Republican will bother to challenge him.

Given that he's likely to walk in there at +40 by 2024, bloody is an understatement. GOPe having a machine to thwart Trump is also laughable.

They're going to set up Kristi Noem as the Trump opponent, she's trying to retool herself right now and make up for protecting Trannies because the chamber of commerce said to. Noem will be used especially is Crooked Hillary shows up as VP or Pres candidate.

Elon would tell the Dems to fuck off and never come back unless he's able to give Warren a one way ticket to space. If they want my vote and they have to get a celebrity just hear me out here. Honselty I would vote for him just to see what his address speechs would look like. God knows they would be insane and mind twisting.

I imagine he'd have the DOJ prosecute anyone who watched it on a phone. Hell he'd probably ban smartphones outright and require everyone to practice transcendental meditation. I'd like to live in a world where David Lynch is the Democrat nominee and Mel Gibson is the Republican nominee.

Rumor has it that the reason the NY State Prosecutors haven't shitted after years of threatening to go in the pot, is that the Democrats want to hold off indicting/arresting trump on trumped up charges via NY State Attorney's office until he announces he is running again to try and poison the well and make him ineligible to run again.

Also I have to wonder if the Democrats know they are fucked in 2024 and would PREFER Civil War over a fair election that year, since they clearly want to go full fascist with a dictatorship but can't just do it due to the optics.

I don't think Dems could go full fascist even if they had the green light to do so. Most of Biden's administration is horrifyingly incompetent and inept. I can see them trying to seize power only for someone crucial to forget the keys to a door, break an ankle stepping off a sidewalk or tying their shoe laces together several times in a row.
