Ame has had several high spec graphics cards shit the bed on her repeatedly. She's been quite candid with her personal setup

She has the background of a streamer though. So she likely already had a good setup and possibly even a dual pc one for streaming. Who knows wth the others are doing or if they have much support regarding that, besides asking a genmate that knows about it.

Listening to this now and anytime I tune in to one of her karaokes I'm waiting to be blown away by something and don't quite get the praise she gets. She's obviously leagues above the ones who can't sing at all like Fauna and Ame, but I just don't think she sounds that great. No where near as good as Gura or Mumei (when she does it seriously). But I regularly see people saying she is so amazing and some even put her as top singer in HoloEN and it is baffling to me.

Since I only heard her sing a few songs I'll say the favorite of mine was Fly Me To The Moon (either one). Wish I had caught Shape of You. She's terrific, I like her singing as much as Mumei's.

Fauna deleted her heartbeat ASMR. It's unfortunate since it was a decent stream it just had audio issues in the beginning and chat commenting things from her heartbeat like that it was too fast or "fart asmr next" probably made her uncomfortable. Probably doesn't help that it was also flooded with "Can't watch, watching Kronii" comments. She stopped the heartbeat and started playing Kalimba instead then people started complaining about volume. By the end she was awkwardly laughing and apologizing for the scuff and saying she'd "take this vod to the shadow realm".

I really love em both. Overall NijiEN3 is a banger. Even Nina with all the dumb honey shit started to grow on me and really has a place as the older mother figure of the dysfunctional family.

I would assume that when people talk about how amazing she is at singing they are mainly talking about her voice (and to a point I would agree) that her voice is one of the best in Hololive. Wouldnt say she's killing it, but she seems to be excited about doing Karaoke and seems to be putting in some effort into improving her singing.

I agree that song was better and probably being more suited to her voice helped a bunch. But yeah it probably comes down more to voice and music selection preferences. I know some people seem to cream their pants when they hear her voice, but it does absolutely nothing for me and I'd rank it bottom tier. That and the whole narcissism thing just filters me out.

That's pretty sad to hear. Fauna is quickly becoming one of my favorites, but I don't "get" ASMR either so I usually skip those streams. But sad to hear that her chat was being exceptional.

edit: OK so I was bored so I watched it. She pre-recorded sparks and lipsync'd it during her outfit reveal bc she was worried she'd be too nervous to do it live. Meh.

On a side note, I'm surprised after over a year and all the huge streams/events they've had that they still get nervous for things like this. Pretty much all of them have said something along those lines.

And she does a damn good job of it too tbh. You can tell she's vocally trained with how she modulates her voice while singing to hit certain notes, and she has talent of her own as well.

A lot of them have to practice their songs a lot to hit the notes. iRyS is kinda (and I feel shitty for even saying this) what ironmouse had potential/has the voice to be, she's extremely capable while also being trained so she can pick up a tune quicker like it's nothing. ironmouse had classical opera training so when she can do her breath control right she could compete with any vsinger. iRyS has better health and is able to capitalize on it, idk what specific type of vocals if any she was trained for but I love hearing her.
