I am hedging my bets on Chingchongpoke. Myocarditis so far have only been claimed for Pfizer and Moderna.

I may need to ask the vet for IVM if things go rough.
If you're going for the veterinary stuff, it's OTC at least anywhere with any number of farmers.

I would retitle the title of the video as "Surveillance state is the way of the future of China".

More on the lab leak
Alina Chan is the co-author of the book "Viral: The Search for the Origin of COVID-19" which I recommended a while back. I just finished the book today, and I'd like to recommend it once again. It's a fairly quick read and it collects all the publicly available (and some no longer available) information that has been dug up about the activities of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the NIH and EcoHealth Alliance leading up to the pandemic and after, which until now you would need to seek out on many different websites and Twitter threads. There are mountains of evidence pointing towards a lab leak, and little, almost none pointing towards a natural spillover event like the original SARS epidemic and MERS, and the book details them greatly.

The thing is that a lab leak does not have to be intentional. A poorly trained lab tech in a BSL-2/3 lab could have gotten bitten by a humanized mouse that had been infected with a virus that had been subject to gain of function experiments. Two researchers in Beijing were infected with SARS in two separate incidents in 2004 which ended up infecting other people. A lab tech in Taiwan was infected with Delta LAST MONTH after being bitten by a mouse--the SECOND TIME she had been bitten in the lab. Omicron has suspicious mutations that typically don't occur naturally in coronaviruses nor in immunocompromised patients (the suspected origin of many previous variants) that suggests it may have been experimented on.

None of this proves a lab leak was the origin of COVID, but it sure as fuck looks like it once you've seen all of the evidence. This is basically like finding fingerprints and DNA of a suspect (the WIV) at the scene of a murder, but you have people (NIH, EcoHealth Alliance) saying the suspect was with them at the time the crime was committed.

aka a virus

For many years in the computer security industry there has been talk of creating "self-healing viruses", aka viruses that are actual 'viruses' to all intents and purposes (they hijack your computer at its most base level, sometimes even below the OS level down to Ring0 [rootkits]) - it's just that they are used for beneficial and not malevolent ends (trust me bro').

Some might even argue that some of the anti-virus (see anti-fascist) programs of today are in fact viruses themselves, pretending to be beneficial in guise only. McAfee. Deletes programs deemed as 'naughty' by the software makers, but are known not to be viruses, and then you can't undelete them from quarantine without doing an internet search of where they hid the fucking files. Keygens are notorious for dropping Trojan malware, and it's true that their 'signatures' are often very much alike, but even when being flagged as false positives, they still get flagged because Adobe paid 200,000 bucks to McAfee to zap any instance of Crack.Adobe.Photoshop.Keygen.Variant.LOL.

There are other anti-malware and anti-virus out there that leave glaring shit-nuggets on your system that are re-directing your DNS in your browser and just generally making your life a misery (as well as stealing all your data [browser history/bookmarks]), all because they paid 200,000 bucks to McAfee to NOT zap any instance of them found.

In fact, the lines are so blurred now between virus and ""anti"" virus, that you can only make distinctions in discrete individual cases. Plus you have the OSI stack to deal with network stuff being leaked down to the very lowest levels that you really would not know about unless you really knew how to use a firewall or a real nerd program like WireShark. Your system is getting raped multiple times daily. Information of various parts of the sytem are getting sent to other parts of the system (cells) and just like hormones or neurotransmitters, that information can be used to ramp up, ramp down or change end effects on the system by various further means.

There are no experts (doctors) when it comes to the body. And there are no experts when it comes to computers. There are only jannies that look after one specific part. The more specific you are the better you will be, but the more ignorant of the over-reaching and wider system at play. Specialist/Generalist? Take your pick, you can't be both, in whatever discipline you choose to study in life. Not just computers. That is why conventions and meet-ups are so good. The old can meet the new and both can learn something. A man, of whatever discipline, that can not learn from the fool, even, is no great fount(ain) of truth to drink from.

Science is method not dogma.
Scientism is dogma not method.

Conflate them both at your peril.

There will be things Science never understands.
This is where faith comes in.
It's nice to have 'belief' and whatnot, but sometimes a little bit of 'faith' is, what you might just find, if you try sometimes, is what gets you through that long dark night of the soul. See John of The Cross.

And then you have cults.

So we come to the parallel with today with people splicing genes and doing gain of function research. All to better the science. Just like the questionairre they put out the other day in bongistan asking 14 year olds about what kind of kinky sex they had had. It's clown world and you better belive it bozos.

None of this is for your good. Still no cure for cancer. In fact, cancer can go and fuck itself because they aren't even testing for it anymore. Advances have been made than provide a much longer quality of life before death, sometimes even with a prognosis of 'beating' the disease. But they went quite quiet on the facts we heard a while back that backlogs will take years to shift and many thousands will already be fucking dead because of this dystopian Bullshit.

Today your body is under attack from every source. The air you breath, the food you eat, the water you drink, the drugs you ingest. No wonder so many mutations take place. But we are worried about a common fucking cold/flu/wtf it has mutated in to. Just like your computer is under attack from the network stack (see OSI model) and every single time you connect to the internet, and it is under attack from the base core components already installed on your system down to the most fundamental degree (see CPU having a hidden OS [MINIX] that can send information back to Microsoft/government servers even when your fucking machine is fucking turned off - powered by ethernet cable).

Most people don't realise just how thoroughly compromised their bodies and their computers are.

And yet the government and elites are fucking around with them even more. It's Frankenstein territory and what we have now is a real life Frankenstein with Covid. They are working in labs pouring in millions upon millions of research to fund gene splicing/gain of function research with regard to your body, and they are (in fact they have already pretty much achieved), trying to achieve full spectrum dominance when it comes to your computer devices and seeing what is on there, via viruses and malware such as Stuxnet et al or just the IME in every recent chip been made in the last dozen or so years.

But to even question is to be paranoid! You should be fucking paranoid. The fuckers really are out to get you and they really are doing this shit and admit as much and that is where the gaslighting comes in - telling someone what you are doing to them in one breath then denying it and calling them crazy the next.

Intel who have the IME (Intel Management Engine an OS on a CPU) even have the motto: ONLY THE PARANOID SURVIVE. Or at least Andy Grove or wtf said that.

You see, you gotta be paranoid, you gotta check up on everyone all the time, god you just don't know what those nasty plebs are plotting and up to - dl their data now, datarape them, privacy rape them - send out armies of propaganda merchants that sweep the seas of information to make ad-hominem or otherwise fallacious attacks that drain any semblance of resistance.

As above. So below.

At the information level I can even understand the need to do this, and the weakness of spirit of those that give in to such raping of the data and privacy of society's individuals.

But at the cellular level? If it was for altruistic purposes, even if it pretended to be for altruistic purposes, I could understand it and possibly even forgive it (once things got out of hand), but gain of function research and what has come about here with Covid is nothing but pure unadulterated evil incarnate, borne from their very first principles. They aren't even pretending or making claims to benificence. It's just malice and gasligthing (but I repeat myself).

Still no cure for the common cold.

Still no cure for the flu.

Still no cure for cancer.

Still psychologically terrorising your own populace via 'Enviromentalism' while fucking destroying the environment in every way possible and really not giving a shit about it at all.

Short term greed rules man. Strong families rule the most among men. Whether a clan in Turkmenistan, allied with a new-money just like royalty family in the USA and all allied with real lizard people monarchy from britbongstan. Or a fucking thug bunch of scum that rule a housing estate in said bongland, all turned a blind eye to by the police that get paid off, or are too chickenshit scared to do their paid duty.

None of it wholesome.

The Reaper will get what he sows.

Sow the wind, and reap the whirlwind.

Those of you with a religious/biblical bent can better quote the relevant passages here. I don't use the word 'Evil' lightly.

They already own your body (and the body of your children); they've already raped your mind (with porn and propaganda); and now they are coming for the only thing you have left (and are clinging on to for dear life) - your souls...

It's no joke buckos!

May God himself give us strength and grace to do what needs to done again, as was done before, and shall be done again, in these trying times...

Can't edit my post, so I'm going to commit a terrible faux pas and double post.

TL;DR:

For many years in the computer security industry there has been talk of creating "self-healing viruses", aka vaccines, aka viruses that are actual 'viruses' to all intents and purposes (they hijack your computer at its most base level, sometimes even below the OS level down to Ring0 [rootkits]) - it's just that they are used for beneficial and not malevolent ends (trust me bro').

>large portions of the NBA are out with covid
>literally getting to the point were they have to cancel games because whole teams come down with it at once
>almost every player in the league is vaccinated
>NPC NBA fans still giving Kyrie Irving shit for being unvaxxed

I hope he's enjoying this turn of events, and his millions of dollars as well.

Forget China, was it CEPI’s bio-spooks who locked down the West?

IT is nearly two years since the world turned upside down and a sequence of unprecedented lockdowns and quarantines in the name of public health and safety were imposed across the West.

The narrative of the still unfolding story of Covid-19 is familiar to all of us, with China the chief bogeyman of the tale. But is that right?

In this drama has something really important been overlooked? Namely, the role of a powerful, self-appointed supranational organisation, set up 2017, called the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI).

Members of CEPI’s board and scientific advisory committee have been, and still are, key actors in global and national responses to the Covid-19 virus. Its mission? To ‘create a world in which epidemics are no longer a threat to humanity’.

South Korea tightens virus curbs to fight record case surge

South Korea will ban gatherings of five or more people and order eateries and night-time entertainment businesses to close by 9 p.m. as it steps up curbs to fight a record surge in coronavirus cases.

The country will put in place the new social distancing rules from Saturday that run until Jan. 2 as the threat looms of an even higher surge fueled by the omicron variant. Most cases in the recent surge have been linked to people gathering at restaurants, bars and shopping malls, Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum said Thursday.

“The situation is very serious,” Kim said at an emergency COVID-19 response meeting in Seoul. “We are doing our best to expand medical capacity as well as inoculations to overcome the current crisis. However, this requires time, and in the meantime, we need stronger social distancing.”

001Capture.PNG

The spread is coming despite South Korea having one of the highest vaccination rates in the world, with about 81% of the population receiving two or more doses. But the majority of the new, serious cases as well as deaths were among the unvaccinated. The 8% of the population age 18 and over not inoculated accounted for 51.2% of serious cases and 53.9% of deaths, according to government data.

Like many of its Asian neighbors, South Korea has been reluctant to take drastic steps that would hurt its economy, particularly mom-and-pop restaurants and businesses. Instead, the government has urged the public to take preventive measures including getting booster shots, working from home if possible and canceling or postponing meetings and events.

One of the main criticisms about anti-vaxxers is that they get their information from Facebook

I mean, this is definitely true for my Boomer parents, and probably a lot of other people, and Facebook is definitely a river of digital bullshit. Otoh, where are they supposed to get information on politically controversial topics from? You can't even trust the MSM not to doctor video footage and recordings of 911 calls.

I can only talk about what's in this chart, so dunno how much is applicable to your friend. If you tried to fit any model through this data (linear, quadratic, whatever), you would find that your residuals (real y minus fitted y) have non-constant variance. This makes standard methods for regression invalid (eg. it makes real confidence intervals way larger than what you calculate). It's commonly worked around by using robust methods, which there are many. I can't find what exactly the author did but since in the article he plops down 3 weighed averages and hurr his is my slope which is not correct. Normally, for a weighed linear regression (one of the robust methods) you would weigh your data points by inverse of point variance (and not population). Like motherfucker you don't get to pretend that LA County is one big data point with giant weight and zero variance. I mean, the real slope is probably still upwards because of age in rural counties, distance to hospitals, income, occupational danger, lack of vaxxxmaxxing the geronts, etc... but voting for Trump does not kill you (probably).
I should have worked harder in statistics. Would you explain the spoiler plot? I don't have the statics knowledge to understand the humor.
Indeed.

I wonder why that is, hmmmmmm.

Personally, getting sick on an airplane was usually seen as pretty standard in my experience, if you're on a flight with someone sick. I was never super confident in airplane filtration, but seeing how much masks actually leak is just another nail in the mask coffin. (Not to mention the eating and drinking for extended periods) Unless the flight was full of people wearing fitted N95s (assuming people actually wanted to wear them) I could cede that masks can help, but that isn't realistic. This study is filled with some airflow modelling in common situations, an interesting thing to look at if you want to get a better understanding about how shit flies through the air.

The cabin environment becomes much improved when the infected person wears a surgical mask while traveling (Fig. 7c). There seems that only a minimal payload of droplets being shed from the front, but considerable load may come from either side of the mask, as the surgical mask is usually loosely fitted to the face. Conversely, the aerosol cloud may still travel to the front area of the cabin and returns with the airflow stream coming from outside the vehicle. Nevertheless, the cabin airflow streamlines drive such virus-laden plume out of the cabin in seconds. The cabin environment is further improved when the infected person wears an N95 respirator (Fig. 7d). Still, one has to admit the fact that there is an element of risk for susceptible hosts to get infected.

Report on what people are saying in my neck of the woods:
The double jabbed are getting a little angry that they may mandate 2 more booster shots. The response I am getting is "fuck that, I'm done."
I have heard information about people close to politicians importing PPE (personal protective equipment) making machines months before the pandemic was announced, I trust the source of this info for what that's worth. This person is also confident that the omicron variant might be the one that causes the pandemic to burn out, confirming what is being said here. "Sars-1 never disappeared" he said, "it just mutated itself, and blended in with the other background viruses." Overall things are looking up, there is an overall sense that this was "a great way to make a buck" and given enough time this shit is going to fall apart naturally. Nice to hear outside of this thread.

Looks like Quebec wants to outdone Ontario...

Health-care research institute projects 700 Quebecers in hospital by early January

On Thursday, Quebec Premier François Legault said the coronavirus situation in Quebec is now critical. (Sylvain Roy Roussel/Radio-Canada)

As COVID-19 cases spike across the province and the threat of Omicron looms, the Quebec government will tighten public health measures on Monday, while speeding up its booster shot campaign.
"In this fight that we are waging, it's not enough to just get vaccinated," Premier François Legault said during a Thursday news conference.
The province must also reduce the number of close contacts between people, he said.
Legault said the government does not want to close schools, so primary schools will reopen after the New Year at the regular date. High schools will use remote learning until Jan. 10.
Masks will be again required in primary and high school classrooms and buses.
Private gatherings will be reduced to 10 people inside, 20 outside and it is recommended that people use rapid testing kits before gathering.
Officials said that doesn't mean people should attend 10 parties with 10 people, but instead limit the number of gatherings they attend.
Quebec's new measures also include:
  • Stores will have reduced capacity, allowing one client per 20 square metres.
  • Places of worship will reduce capacity by 50 per cent, with a cap of 250 people. Vaccine passports will be required and people must be seated.
  • Funerals and weddings can have up to 25 people without requiring vaccine passports, but up to 250 people with passports.
  • For public activities, capacity is lowered by 50 per cent to a maximum of 250 people. People must stay seated and wear a mask at all times.
  • Bars and restaurants must cut capacity by 50 per cent, spacing tables as much as possible, with a maximum of 10 people at tables. Dancing and karaoke are banned once again.
  • Cinemas and theatres will also have capacity reduced by 50 per cent.
  • All tournaments and competitions suspended as of Monday, with reduced capacity of gyms and other indoor training facilities.
  • "If everyone does their part, we can get through this together," Legault said.
Legault said there will be support offered to businesses affected by the public health measures as they were in previous stages of the pandemic.

Booster campaign speeds up

As of Monday, people 65 and over will be able to make an appointment for a booster shot, Health Minister Christian Dubé said. People with certain health conditions aged 60 and up will also be eligible.
The Monday after that, Dec. 27, all people 60 and up will be able to make an appointment.

Black cats are amazing and deserve love too (even if they're all bread thieves).
The bread! Why always with the bread?

If you've ever been on a farm when times are hard and food is scarce, cats are kind of necessary, but of the more 'nice to have' kind of necessary. They also take up food. If a cat has had kittens it's a sad state of affairs because in the wild the other animals will not just be trying to eat her, but her kittens as well. So she has to go out hunting for food to feed them and guess what? That leaves her kittens more vulnerable again. The fact they are crying and screaming for food doesn't help, but you try telling them that!

So mama cat does what mama cat does best and goes out looking for food for her kittens. She is also looking for food for herself. She is in pure hunter mode here. She has to get enough food to give her energy to hunt and defend and hunt some more for food. She isn't really hunting for live animals here as it's a much greater expenditure - it's easier to find other freshly dead animals or YOU KNOW WHAT that farmers kitchen down the road that smells of fresh food, mmm. fresh bread...

She knows she doesn't have long. If it's cold as well the absence of her warm heat will lessen the life of her needy kittens. She needs food for milk to provide for them, but when she is sucked dry she has only one choice: back out on the hunt!

But even in a good day in May, she needs to find protein/carbohydrate fast. Those good people up at the farm might not be feeding her, when times are scarce, but they may play a balancing act, keeping her around, throwing her scraps when she can, and most importantly of all, providing a foil to keep the most nastiest of the predators away.

To cut a long story of cat and mouse short, because that is what is going in here, the mama cat says fuck this, I can smell bread fresh from the oven, I'll wait like the hunter (rat) that I am, and when they aren't looking, I'll see when they go out, and I'll climb in through that top window faster than fucking billio, they won't know what's hit 'em, and I'll grab some of that bread I smell which is more than rich enough in protein and carbohydrate to take back to my kittens and hopefully prolong my life a bit more so I can get up tomorrow and do it all again (except mama cat has to keep watch all through the night to protect her kitty kats).

Women might be bitches. Some of them might be whores. Not one of the fuckers should ever have been given the right to vote. But love 'em or hate 'em, and this is universal across all species, a mama cat, a human mama, a whale mama, a monkey mama, will do what a mama needs to do to make sure she just didn't spend the last X amount of months of her life for fuck all. Maybe all species have a concept of sunk fallacy, I don't know.

For those about to Fuck, we salute you!

---

When I lived in a mansion that was derelict, we had a rat problem. Guy who owned the place was rich and mental. He would leave out big blocks of cheese on the counter and go to bed at night pissed on his mum's sherry. Fucking rats were waiting. But it wasn't the fucking cheese they wanted, it was the bread.

In fact, it was so much the bread they wanted that they even learned how to take the fucking lid off the top of the bread bin. Clever little cunts.

Now, why would rats forego a better more protein rich food than cheese to take a more carbohydrate rich food like bread? We all know that doesn't make sense, despite that, rats and mice love fucking cheese! Don't dey? Yes dey do! When times are hard. But when the going is good...

Cheese is made from milk (generally speaking - See Loretta Janke and RMS's foot stank) and milk is rich in protein, which is what mama cat gets sucked dry of. You would think it would be a no-brainer. And it is, depending on environment. You see, rats, cats, mice, humans, we aren't so different, when protein is in abundance we know that and we then tend to go for more carbs and stuffing ourselves so fucking silly we die from obesity. Once a human gets the ability to stay alive, it then levels up and goes for the ability to get fat. Same with cats/rats.

Cats will eat cheese by the way, even as a curiousity. A few of my cats loved it as a delicacy. They wouldn't eat more than a few blobs here or there, just like crisps, but they certainly appreciated the difference it brought to the their palate. Just like anyone who has ever kept a fish will know the little buggers really like freshly cooked peas (one is all it takes to send the fucker in to raptures - and the shit will be green in the water).

As for why a cat would choose freshly baked bread over cheese or other foods, we don't really kinow their palate, we don't know why they love catnip so much. But no need to over think it - a freshly baked loaf of bread smells like a cake and therefore it is the most easily preyed about and easy to locate. While cheese might be smelly as well, most people tend to hide that under cover. Bread is a food left out in the open and ripe for predators. Just one thought.

I would take the cats bits of bread when times were hard, and I would snuggle out little bits of cheese as well. It's one thing seeing cats in those nesting boxes that humans make up for them, but to see them in the wild, and to see how very vulnerable they are, and to see how they only have that one big bad mama cat (that may not be that big and bad) is truly humbling. To come back the next day and see some of them gone, or to find some of the kittens around the farm eaten by other 'animals' (mad fucking dogs that you do not want to fuck with - Wolfs practically), well...

There is a saying, when a mama cat loses a kitten, even God weeps...

---

Cats and rats and humans aren't so far apart.

Sometimes you get while the going is good. Sometimes you get what is just easiest to take. Sometimes if the going really is that good, you will subside on bread (read cheetos) rather than cheese (read proper protein).

Fuck that, why can't I edit any of my posts?

Holy textwalls of fire. Some fuckers really do need to learn the philosophy of ‘less is more’.

You know, you really are right. I just tried to spoiler it down to nothing but I can't edit my posts. It's probably just a glitch but I'm in the middle of dl'ing something right now and can't change my ip or restart my computer.

I'll make sure to post less from now on and when I do I'll spoiler my spergings. Thankyou for your concern!

Fucker.
