I don’t think Vox sounds like Connor at all tbh (although I guess he is a voice actor so maybe he could disguise it a bit)

And like others have said it doesn’t make sense from a financial standpoint. I don’t see what he would gain from joining niji. It’s a bit of a risk, we don’t really know how the EN community will take to male vtubers. I’ve been wrong before though.

They all sound pretty awkward. How do you fuck up a “I hardly know her” joke?

Probably late but watch any of Enna from NijiEN's singing, her vocal range is insane and I'm throwing my wages at her as soon as her membership goes live.

Yeah, unless he is retiring as Connor or semi retiring, theres just no way for him to do both jobs without going the Sidney route, which Niji would 100% never allow.

It also makes no sense considering how much he seems to enjoy his current content. It would be dropping a successful channel doing what he likes for a chance at maybe more money doing shit that he is not guaranteed to like and with a lot of risk.

Then again, he is also dumb as fuck, so who knows.

Designs look pretty good, and I look forward to seeing how things go.
I think the voices sound particularly bad in the teaser because the lines are shitty and they're trying to "voice act", so they should hopefully sound better when just talking and chatting using their own words during streams.

If it is indeed that Cannur then it will be funny that's for sure. I still remembered before Calli's Trash Taste Episode 2, Cannur was shit talking corpo Vtuber at a whole (specifically Hololive) with Mouse. He was going on and on about how get in Hololive = instant success kinda like Willy Wonka golden ticket. Mouse tried to divert the conversation but monke brain take over him and he drag on and on. That's why when I see Calli appear at Trash Taste again, I thought Cannur will double down and ask her about if get in Hololive = instant success.

Let see how NijiEN male can manage to get that "bromance" streamer style up and running since that's probably the only way to go tbh.
If NijiEN can manage to outclass Holostars then I can see HolostarEN will be a thing as there are definitely some male fail VA out there as dub anime only have so few male voices. Then we will have "Yagoo's home of broken guys" and expect some back ground story like some guy who get NTR by girlfriend and force to pay child support for child that's not his because a piece of paper said so despite DNA test etc.

TBF, Elira's trailer line was "love at first light." Petra's line would have been "ice ice baby" if manager had her way. The majority of /vt/ misidentified Enna and Nina's PLs based on their trailer lines. It's almost a tradition at this point for people to lose their minds and doompost over NijiEN trailer lines.

You are right that it really doesn't make sense for it to be Connor. The accusations of Trash Taste leeching off of vtubers gloss over how Connor has more subs than most Hololive members and every Niji member, and gets higher view counts than any of them. If it is Connor, I suppose it means that he actually genuinely does want to be a vtuber, but doesn't want to just leverage his own name recognition for some reason.

For what it's worth, Mysta kinda accidentally revealed that Vox is British in the chat of Reimu's stream. So you can see that as evidence for Connor or a reason why they might just be two different people who sound similar.

Nijisanji EN has a ban on collabing outside of NijiEN for a few weeks. Within NijiEN it's fine regardless of wave, but no non-EN unless it is organized by management.

If you mean collabing outside of Nijisanji in general, I don't think there are hard rules. Selen has joined VCs with people without having run them past management first on multiple occasions. Though those weren't pre-planned collabs. I'm sure there is still some approval process involved.
