But the thing that really has me convinced on this rrat if it can be called that, is the "speak of the devil" line he gave in the intro trailer, especially with the inflection. Who knows maybe I am just autistic and wrong but I feel that is a direct nod to mouse's show, Speak of the Devil, for which iirc Connor was one of the guests (though I think Sykkuno was the first).

Or, wild concept, he said it because he's supposed to be a demon and some manager thought it sounds badass, possibly the same one that was gonna approve Petra saying "ice ice baby" in Obsydia's trailer. I'm not saying the rrat can't possibly be right, it definitely could and if so I wouldn't know whether to be impressed, but it just seems like a pretty wild reach I'd expect from /vt/.

General synopsis of Korone's talk stream:

• Went on a date with Okayu, Botan, and Towa.
• Also went to Universal Studios Japan with Okayu.
• Watched Gen 6's debuts and wishes she was able to welcome them.
• Vocal coach told her to focus on the fundamentals and that her voice isn't taxing like it was for Suisei for instance.
• Watched a few movies including The Sand and Dr. Strange.
• Wants to watch "Shark" (I'm guessing the Sharknado) movies with everyone.
• Was worried about her fans leaving, but was encouraged by all the messages, art, etc.
• Has started taking painkillers if she's in pain instead of just fighting through it.
• Going forward she's going to stream and do what she wants to, not so much what others do. This makes her feel more optimistic going forward.
• Her break put things in perspective and she will be much happier in the future.
• She was confused and thought Fubuki was in some fishing competition before realizing she was just trying to get Golden Magikarp.
• Sang 2 songs

That's about it. Overall she seems to be reinvigorated, although she mentions that she's not 100% back yet but she will stream whenever she's able to.

That's great to hear, fun trips and all. Great that the fans are so supportive. Glad she's doing better even if she's not 100% back.

That being said, I doubt he'd seriously join a chuuba corp when he's already raking in cash from his Twitch streams and YouTube VOD uploads, along with streaming ad reads on top of the regular salary he's already pocketing from Trash Taste thru GeexPlus. He already has a personal brand he's built over the years as fujo-bait and has 2.5 million subs on his original channel and 500k subs on his second channel. Fucker's already making at least 6 figures annually in ad-sense off those alone. Signing up to a corpo would be fucking stupid given the time it will actually take away from content creation for his own channels, let alone adding more work while splitting profits with a corpo developing a new channel that's not even personally his.

Small unheard of indies and content creators apply to chuuba corpos in order to garner an audience that's above and beyond what their original channels previously have (Senzawa is a fucking outlier who grew to hate her own retarded fanbase). If you already have a successful channel and over a million subs, all your work goes towards content creation for that channel and keeping that going. You're actually losing money and future revenue by sinking time and adding work that doesn't go towards the success of that personal brand/channel.
