Absolutely right. You can tell they wash their hair with scalding hot water and brush the shit out of it while its wet, probably with those cheap plastic bristle brushes.
I'm very curious about the hormonal aspect of it though. I've seen some troons claim that HRT stopped their balding, but I have to press x to doubt. I've also seen a good number of TIFs go bald from T.
Well the hormonal aspect is honestly how I got interested in this in the first place. It was the thing that didn’t add up to me at first. I have some background in endocrinology, for the purposes of not power leveling I’ll leave it at that, but obviously I’m not going to give medical advice here so this is merely speculation.
The issue with cross sex hormones is really the cross sex part. The male and female endocrine systems are sufficiently different not just after puberty, but it all periods of life. For instance if we were to talk about something that you hear an off a lot of noise about in troon circles —breast development — there is an absolute and clear difference between the development of breast tissue in females and the resulting functional organ that it creates, and pseudo-gynecomastia as the result of exogenous estradiol or other estrogens.
Unlike what you would hear from these pedophiles obsessed with tanner stages, breast development is not limited strictly to puberty. The man who uses hormones to pack on some additional breast fat is not going to have the actual organ, and they never will. They have never developed the actual structures that make up a functioning breast.
Of course hormones are particularly powerful little chemicals so the shape of the body can be altered into something vaguely more gynoid in form, But the underlying tissues, organs, bone structure etc. are all male and they always will be. We do ourselves a disservice to act otherwise and I find the current medical trend to do so (in the absence of the patients!) very distressing.
Unlike the breasts, hair is not specifically sexually dimorphic. Its meaning is more cultural than biological, so really this should be a slam dunk. There are however some effects that hormones have on hair.
Now the most common one you have already heard is that DHT causes male pattern baldness. This simplification is good enough for internet shitposting. Estrogen reduces the total amount of DHT in the man’s system by suppressing the testosterone production, so it does halt any further balding. Now up to a point some hair loss and hair thinning is reversible. But; if there is no longer even any hair there, it’s not gonna grow back, and you would be looking at plugs or a wig if you wanted hair. The idea that estrogen itself will reverse baldness is pure lunacy.
Men having oiler hair is usually caused by testosterone. It’s not really an issue because your natural oils can give your hair a bit of shine. Troons keeping the grease due to poor diet, hygiene, and lifestyle is G-d’s cruel joke.
