I've had a theory for a while that men in general and troons in particular are face blind.
Like they have done brain scans of men and the part of the brain that lights up when they see a face also lights up when they see the front of a car. As a woman and as a vertebrate, I understand wanting to make face patterns out of things, especially when there are two lenses pointed in the same direction. Animals know when they are being watched, especially in a predatory manner. But when women look at cars, they don't have that "this is a face!" brain moment.
As another example, I don't think sex dolls will ever become popular for women. Even the more lifelike ones seem like corpse fucking, and the less lifelike ones are even creepier. Like the inflatable dolls look like a kindergartener drawing the pretty lady she saw downtown.
But my final strongest example is troons. They just don't see what other people see. And I think some of it is ignorance, but some of it is face blindness. Like one of the common things troons do is apply dark red lipstick, even when it's not flattering, but then they totally ignore the brows. Red mouth = wamman but sculpted brows = ????
Like these videos made the rounds a few years ago, and I don't think a troon would notice 90% of what's in this video. Girl pretty, pretty girl make pp feel good, but not be able to describe anything specific.
And on edit, I think this girl has some of the look Kevin is going for, but his own face blindness makes him incapable of taking any specific lessons from it.

I wouldn't say men generally have face blindness. That's a bit extreme, it feels like saying a person is completely blind because they need glasses.
But men do indeed not see as much meaning in faces as women usually do. There's a test called something like "the truth is in the eyes" which asks participants to decipher emotion in photos of people's eyes. Women generally score around 80 to 100 percent while men hover around 68. Obviously, those with face blindness or ASD score from 20 all the way down to 0, 20 being the statistical average of correct answers gotten through guessing.
The concept you mentioned regarding seeing faces in objects is called pareidolia. The study you mentioned with cars seems interesting, because I haven't looked into the concept enough to learn it had differing rates according to sex.

I know people like to laugh at the troons but I think I'll always feel bad for them. It's clearly mental illness, what they're doing actually makes perfect sense in those broke-brains of theirs. Can you imagine one day waking up without your cock because, at one point, you believed surgically mutilating yourself was such a good idea that you just couldn't ever find happiness without this mutilation? It's not a wonder that they're all so completely dead inside. Just gotta keep the lie going, groom as many as possible, there's nothing normal left to look forward to anymore. Grooming others and collecting games and toys is licherally all poor Kevin Gibes has left to live for.
I can tell you from personal experience that using tools is very therapeutic for the male psyche. Sure, you see older, rich guys trooning out, probably due to boredom or whatever. You never see the guy that's got his own garage, his own workshop, filled with tools and half finished projects, ever trooning out. If you know of an example where this was the case, I'd like to see it. If you're lurking and thinking of trooning out, maybe buy some tools first instead. You can get pretty good stuff used for less, cheaper than therapy or transition would cost, anyways. With tools you can build different things, or take different things apart. I've tried therapy with a number of therapists over the years for various stresses I've experienced in my life, nothing beats those tools though. You wanna sit there and talk about bullshit for an hour or try building something like a potato gun or laser etching/cutting CNC? You see what I mean? Not saying that talking isn't important, it is, but if you have good, honest people in your life then you might be able to get away without any therapy.
Seeing what Kevin would look like as a more normal male was depressing as fuck. If only he went outside more often... Bro, you can't get laid hiding behind a screen all day, it helps to get out of the house from time to time..

Having a productive pastime or good work ethic and a personal machine shop does not preclude anybody from being an autogynephiliac and acting on it. Regardless - my old friend’s ex husband restored old cars in his garage that was nearly the size of their home itself and it still struck him. He also owns a somewhat successful start-up dedicated to a niche mechanical engineering field. However, he still ruined his marriage and abandoned his son in order to post selfies on Instagram in high heels and lingerie.
In addition, my former friend from years and years ago also trooned out and he built and continues to build random shit like computer server towers and hydroponics systems.
Look at penny himself - he’s (barely) working all day on a farm using tools (badly), building shit outdoor showers and handling unmaintained guns, and he trooned out.
I’ve spoken a lot in the troony support megathread because I know a lot of folks that trooned out but the upshot is - and I cannot emphasize this enough - it almost never happens to the people you would expect it to. Don’t make assumptions on what a troon does or might look like - anybody can have a fetish and the mental illness to let it take over your life can be sleeping in any man. the only point that I will concede that perhaps trooning out happens less to people who have productive or hands-on hobbies since they’re sometimes too busy for severe alcoholism and other substance abuse which can awaken or exacerbate mental illness.

There’s many, many examples of this in the electronics and software world. I’m aware of more than one doing videos about mechanical projects too. Hell, there was even a thread from one of the tranchers the other week dreaming about having a proper shop and being able to work on motorbikes and jeeps and shit.
They’re typical dudes underneath it all, these particular ones just happen to be super lazy grifters as well.
