That's the main reason, I think. The Trumpian, Nu-Right, has realized that the GOP has been trained to give in to the left on all Culture War stuff and stuff that is "owned" by the left, and education is part of that. It's only now that the Nu-Right is giving the left a serious bloody nose that the Right in general is realizing that the left has no fucking idea how to fight a culture war, not anymore, and their entire existence revolves around the other side admitting that the left is correct and awesome and perfect and unquestionable. For example, the "fetal heartbeat" killshot for state sanctioned baby murder. The right is supposed to flinch whenever the leftyfags even make a motion to punch at them, that's the "rule."

I've found it deranged reading screeds from some people on the right who rationalized giving up winning in any area because they imagined taking over an institution would cause the institution to naturally convert to the left. There was this rationalization that running an organization led to a mindset of managerialism and that was supposed to be inherently liberal, so there basically was no point taking over any organization because it'd make you and it liberal.

One of the things that boggles my mind why doesn't the GOP just run on educational platform where homeschooling parents gets paycheck cut straight to them , i looked how much is spend per pupil is around 14 k give or take. Most of the public schools can't even get their students to read on functional level like grade 4. If your kid passes the requirements every year tax free money straight to your account or the charter school you send him. If you do better job than the public schools why not get paid for it. What else is boggling my mind is in LA immigrants aren't beating the shit out of predatory teachers .

two reasons:

1. the large homeschooling political groups deliberately do not campaign for government money for homeschooling on the basis that if you accept money, you accept control. historically homeschooling activism has had a philosophical basis of no state involvement whatsoever and a very large percentage of people who believe the state has no legitimate interest in education whatsover.

2. despite the philosophical bent I just described, on a local level, in some rural school districts, what you described is pretty close to exactly what happens. however this would be impossible to implement nationally. While the GOP is super retarded, I don't think avoiding this issue on a national level is retarded at all, because it's just too much of a mess.

The issue with this is that it would probably go the way of fostering. "We'll pay you to foster these kids" gives you shitbag people somehow getting like 8 foster kids they abuse/neglect/even kill just for the paycheck. Actually, a lot of supposedly homeschooled children end up abused/dead/illiterate because the guardians didn't actually teach and there was 0 outside oversight.

That lesbian couple that was basically the poster for "progressive non-traditional families" who murder-suicided their foster kids pulled them all out of public school once the teachers started noticing signs of abuse. The Turpin kids were also "homeschooled."

The problem with homeschooling isn't "those dang dirty Christcucks won't teach their kids about muh Big Bang" (oft cited example of detraction), it is the above, which is why I don't find the blind romanticization of it amusing.

I was going to expound upon a whore ex-wife of my friends who put her kids in homeschool -- but Utah based Mormon homeschool, as it's not based out of OUR state and thus has 0 oversight -- because she didn't want to wake up before 7 AM and because the schools had issues with her sending children to public school 5 days in a row without new clothes or a bath. If it's that bad for an ostensibly white woman (although with the amount of African immigrant dick she sucks and fucks I wonder) I can't imagine how bad the joggers would abuse it. It matters because they're trying to justify the concept that a man who couldn't fill a small room """somehow""" managed to beat a guy who had lines outside stadiums in an election.

It's part of the optics, and I have my own theory as to why they keep trying regardless of the gaffes: all of these assholes can't comprehend that it's no longer a pre-2015 world where they don't have unilateral control over the public narrative to such an extent that those who would upload and discuss such gaffes would be marginalized and thought of as some form of conspiracy theorist or dingbat. And to their credit they still have a large amount of sway, like with the Great Reset™ still being called a conspiracy theory by most in the mainstream (if not all) even though it was anything but secret right up until common folks started discussing it. Or take the Hunter laptop, a lot of folks who are mainstream still don't believe that there was anything on it more offensive than a guy's sextape.

It's a mismatch between estimated capability and actual capability, I think.
