After this clip someone says he was just mixed up and then DSP says that its 100% Lag pattern and the guy probably played this game super hard when it came out and learned how to lag pattern everybody.

DSP is saying this. Man who flew around the country to play this game is calling someone else a tryhard. You can't make this up.

Also fighting games and try hard go hand in hand. 1v1 theres no goofing off, especially don't goof with the other tryhard calling you a tryhard. If Phil was that Hugo, you know he would be a sore winner little bitch that whole time. Glad to know his knew stick is giving him problems. Did these nice "fans" not learn about the new PS5 controller he got and continued to "accidently" melee all the time during CoD?

He actually doesn't, I remember it was either the last or "Penultimate" time he played SFV, the one where he dressed up as Bob Ross to try and curb his salt, and he was calling anything that ever hit him a meaty. It was seriously like he had just heard of the term and someone being salty about being hit by them in SFV, so to him it just because something to spout when the game annoyed him rather than an actual tactic he can do too.

Also, that Hugo was inspirational.

That's one thing I've noticed about Phil's fighting game "prowess." No matter which game he plays, if his ass is on the ground and his opponent is close enough to him Phil always mashes out a move on wake up, it doesn't matter if the game has good attack options out of wake up or absolutely terrible attack options when waking up.

Because he always feels the need to do some sort of reversal attack on wakeup if he had the option, instead of just blocking. This is why he picks SA1 Tyrant Slaughter with Urien whenever he plays him in 3rd Strike, because he desperately wants to throw out random supers. 100% of the time in high level tournament play for 3rd Strike, Urien players will always pick SA3 Aegis Reflector instead, because of the mixups and unlockable setups that can be done with it when you score a knockdown. But any of this is way too complex for Phil to understand, as he'd rather just have a random super he can throw out against scrubs.

Good God though, how the fuck do you get double perfected by a Hugo when you're playing Ken???
