I know almost nothing about fighting games. Is Phil's claim of online having lag supported in any way? Is there any difference between playing online vs in person? Not asking is he experiences it, asking if it's possible.
Online will always have some amount of lag but most of the time, it's only noticeable to people who are used to precise inputs (not Phil). Though most of the time, its at most a couple of frames (100ths of a second and is assuming a decent connection from both parties) and isn't easily seen by someone who doesn't play the game at a high level or cares for frame data. And when lag gets bad enough to have a noticeable effect, it affects both parties as the data has to be sent to both parties (and thus why lag isn't an issue offline, there is no extra steps outside of the game translating the button press). This is why competitive scenes do want to get back to in person tournaments, as they are autistic enough to care.

When Phil complains about "lag", he's only looking for a convenient excuse to not accept that someone could play a game better than he can. He's used the claim of lag when playing against an offline bot.

How generous of OneMinuteMan to stray from the usual $25 tip and khantribute with $40 at a time when Phil had only received $5 in tips at that point.

Surely it’s an innocent coincidence and OneMinuteMan just felt festive in the Season of Giving.
It's insane that every day this person (Planet Jeff) still gives this much, over the years he could have bought a love doll to cope, but sadly he just forks it over to Phil. Planet Jeff, move along, Phil doesn't need you, he only wants your money, if something happened to you he would only be upset he has lost another whale.

Always funny to hear him say "they're abusing online tactics, this would never work offline". The Pig hasn't played SF offline for 10+ years, you'd think with that amount of time he would've adapted. But considering he's played SF for nearly 30 years and he's still average explains why he can't adapt.

DSP's pro tip of the day:
If you think that any woman is attractive you're an idiot and an immature adul.

BONUS:
"Sex is not a big deal. If you're and adult and not a VIRGIN you would know that".

Whoever baited this, godspeed.
Holy shit that was something else for sure, this is really something that bothers him a lot going by how long he kept going on about it.

It is possible, if your connection is very bad you could be at a disadvantage, or other players could be depending on the game. The issue comes in that this problem has largely disappeared since the 2007/2008 Xbox CoD days where it was actually a prevalent issue. Since that is the origin of it for Phil, it's his go-to excuse a decade later. Phil deliberately chooses this excuse because it's not really falsifiable.

The real kicker in it is that Phil has never understood input queueing. In a fighting game for example, you can perform a combo with the right timing by inputting exactly right. Phil doesn't understand you need to execute the inputs correctly, and instead makes the common mistake of mashing a button until he sees its result, then moving on to the next in the input string. For example if he's trying to launch someone and then spin kick them after, he will do the launcher input over and over til it actually comes out and he can react to it, and then do the spinkick input. But, the spinkick won't come out because he has 8 launcher inputs queued before that, as he doesn't know in a basic sense how video games work.

This also gets him in trouble in the Souls series often. It's the source of 90% of his complaints. "I was pressing buttons" or "I didn't do that!"

Tl;dr it's theoretically possible but no it hasn't happened to Phil in a long time. The main thing about lag is since he's recording his screen, it'd be visible to us.

Sex with Phil is interactive and chill.

Gives you the whole prestream.

Tells you about the first time he had sex, how different it was, and how much better he's got.

Then gets a WWE Champions notification and storms off.

Ends up drunk on the couch, 2 AM tweets about how festive he's feeling and you should swing by and support.

Dude, this is horrible game play right now. Trying to run around all the enemies and quickly get this game. Why the fuck does Phil do this with every game? He absolutely refuses to enjoy a challenge or the games he plays period. Laziest motherfucker playing games on the internet.

Or cry over some lost saves.

Virgin status confirmed.

He's just running around the enemies dude the challenge is the point of your game, I bet when phill was a kid he would cheat in a game and be happy to win that way, but most normal people lose interest in a game with cheats on unless they are just fucking around.
Phil's talked about using game shark/game genie to cheat "Cheating has always been an innate part of gaming culture and an innate part of console gaming"

Needing cheat codes and having to buy a magazine to get them just to advance in a game is what turned me off to video games.

Uhm how has Phil actually outlasted DrDisrespect? From what I hear the Doc is actually building a real business he can reite to once he is stop streaming. And Doc is still streaming right? Or did I miss something?
