What the virus was before vaccinations and proven treatments was IMO a justification for many steps taken. Not all, but certainly most, especially in the USA which is pretty unhealthy by and large.

We will always disagree on that for sure - the danger of the virus etc.

Most of the models paned out actually rather well. I'm vaccinated and will go about life as normal as most I know will; as will the unvaccinated people I know.

McCollough basically did nothing but lay out his experience since the outbreak of the pandemic and quoted papers non-stop to back up every single one of his points. He did not start with the idea that there was a conspiracy, he reached that conclusion because there is no other logical conclusion based on what has happened, particularly since late-spring/early-summer of last year.

Not to say that McCollough has everything right, but he laid out very clearly what his positions are and what his data and experience for supporting said positions is. His arguments are clear and it's beyond apparent that he has a strong moral and logical foundation for all of them. If this guy were serious, he would actually contact McCollough and have him on his show, go one McCollough's show, or better yet, try to arrange something with Joe Rogan so they can have a live discussion. As it is, it looks like he's just trying to cash in on a popular Rogan episode.

I guess it's some legal bullshit requirement that if you got Covid and died from it, like you were 500 kilos and you got it and died the parents could sue or some shit, I dunno, either that or virtue signalling

I've been to a few concerts in Philadelphia, and I think it's done because the health departments can see whether you're checking Covid cards. People are supposed to be wearing masks inside the venues if they're not eating and drinking, but no one says or does anything if you don't. They're also supposed to be doing sanitizing and things like that during the concerts, but that's not happening either.

The stores near me have either taken the signs down, or if they're up, no one says anything if you don't wear a mask. What's interesting is that even some of the employees have stopped wearing masks.
