Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Don't know how reliable this source is, but he is claiming that the post office and FDA are teaming up to intercept and destroy packages of ivermectin being shipped from out of the country. Probably a repost as well.

THANKS, BRANDON!

Naw, but for real, they'll blame Orange Man because "RACIST, XENOPHOBIC, WALL REEEEEEEEEEE"

Also, in answer to the question above, "not enough".
You know what a great way to avoid all of this tragedy would be?

1. Staying in your own fucking country
2. Using the actual fucking legal immigration process to get to Western countries.

Everyone will cry "BUT WAR AND DISASTER REFUGEES!!!" while deliberately ignoring that practically all of these people are economic migrants.

OSHA said Saturday it would begin fining businesses that violate the federal vaccine mandate on January 10.
It will not fine businesses for COVID-19 testing requirements until at least February 9, it said.
The 6th US Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday reinstated the mandate for businesses with more than 100 employees.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration said Saturday it will begin enforcing the federal vaccine mandate for businesses with more than 100 employees, and could start issuing fines as early as January 10.

"To provide employers with sufficient time to come into compliance, OSHA will not issue citations for noncompliance with any requirements of the ETS before January 10 and will not issue citations for noncompliance with the standard's testing requirements before February 9, so long as an employer is exercising reasonable, good faith efforts to come into compliance with the standard. OSHA will work closely with the regulated community to provide compliance assistance," the agency said in a statement Saturday.

The decision came just one day after the 6th US Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati on Friday said the mandate could move forward as scheduled after previous courts halted it by issuing preliminary injunctions.

OSHA is the workplace-safety agency that is expected to enforce the rule.

"It is difficult to imagine what more OSHA could do or rely on to justify its finding that workers face a grave danger in the workplace," the opinion said, according to Reuters. "It is not appropriate to second-guess that agency determination considering the substantial evidence, including many peer-reviewed scientific studies, on which it relied."

The mandate, announced in September, requires businesses with 100 or more mandate employees be vaccinated against COVID-19 or undergo weekly testing. It would impact about 80 million Americans and is planned to take effect on January 4, Insider's Kelsey Vlamis reported Friday.

The mandate has faced more than two dozen court challenges brought by some states, businesses, and other groups, according to the previous Insider report. Critics have argued that OSHA lacks the authority to enforce it.

I've also been trying to go to Japan and couldn't because of Covid-19, but that's just because I'm a damn weeaboo who wants to trundle around Tokyo. I know that was pretty low content, but I needed something to distract me from the Biden administration blaming children for not getting vaccinated.
My understanding is that Osaka is more fun.

Osaka seemed to be more 'historical cultural touristy' to me especially since it's so much smaller which made it easier to see stuff. There is plenty of stuff in Tokyo, of course, especially if you're looking for the electronics/etc and that type of culture. And from Osaka I hopped the train up to Kyoto for the day and hiked around some of the stuff up there like the Torii gates at the shrine.

The biggest question is will the SCOTUS respond before the deadline? The damage this will inflict on the country economocially if allowed to go forward will be catastrophic.
I’m still amazed by the labor shortage. Where the fuck did these people go? Companies are offering $20 an hour for entry level customer service and still can’t find help.

Even though most states (I think) have done away with the extra unemployment benefits by this point, it's "employment musical chairs" due to this OSHA vaccine mandate. People keep jumping ship from place to place due to the threats of needing a vax to work or paying out of their own pockets to get tested weekly. So employers are struggling to even hold onto anybody for more than a month at a time. It's already been happening to a close friend of mine who's had to skip out on his previous job because he'd have to pay $75 out of his own check each week to get tested once January rolls around because he's trying to evade the jab for as long as possible.
