I was talking to another user here the other day. This entire comic…. I think I figured it out. Stephie is the obvious self insert but as a teenager. Sandrat is his ideal image for himself and who he actually wishes he was or could be while simultaneously also being his ideal boyfriend. Everyone else is an unimportant character that after a few arcs will just vanish. This entire comic is just wish fulfillment and it has nothing to do with education or entertainment.

Don’t hold your breath now that I’m saying it but I won’t be surprised if some Older Guy takes an interest in them and we get a pedophilia arc. Fucking weirdo.

There’s one fatal flaw in your logic. Guillaume isn’t actually trans, so these characters are only a semi-insert of self or wants in a partner. Remember a few years ago when he crowd funded like $30k for SRS, but never got it? Then screeched that he didn’t owe anyone an explanation of his transness… He’s the biggest fraud who just exploits simpletons. I’m glad they’re starting to catch on.

Billy can’t write anything emotional or character-based and I honestly think he’s had no experience of a normal life. He uses jokes as a substitute for emotional dialogue. In some ways, AM reminds me of Sonichu, in that it feels like you’re just supposed to know things about the characters.
