I think the fact they appear in so many mythologies across the world makes it plausible that they're not purely myth. People with no contact between each other thousands upon thousands of miles apart just happened to imagine up winged lizards just because it sounded cool?

The people at the lowest rung in the system - labelled chronic schizophrenics etc - are subjected to what is basically for-profit extrajudicial confinement and human experimentation. Antipsychotic drugs, combinations of other psych drugs, psych drug withdrawal, and ECT keep you sick. You can claw your way up the hierarchy. But like the Hotel California you can never really leave.

I always love how the official narrative is that certain personality disorders are caused by “childhood trauma”, yet one of the major shared characteristics of people with these disorders is that they nearly always have massive persecution complexes and get through life by preying on other people’s sympathy.

So where did this "fact" come from? How did we learn about all these patients experiencing some sort of traumatic past event in the first place? Was it from third parties who actually witnessed the event? Or did this information come from the patients themselves?
