To be fair the genre has been a little bit lacking in the past 10 or so years, with about 1 decent series coming out each year.

Because they don't suck at games and they are great potential collab partners? The Bobon + Selen Apex stream is what got me to watch Nijisanji.

Its my opinion the collabs they watched were collabs where everyone but Calli is actually playing in awake hours meanwhile its dead of night for poor Calli

The holostars Among Us collabs and Roberu's solo ones usually had me more entertained than the hololive ones. It was great catching the second collab live on Roberu's stream and being there for Astel's mix-up and letting Roberu and Shien win.

He was holding steady at 7.5-7.7K for a while but he's been streaming for a few hours now and the debut 2.0 segment has long since finished. This is SC readings.

Edit: Previous averages for first post-debut streams were about 3-4.5K. Shu (4.2K) was on the upper end of that bracket whilst Vox's guerilla (6K) and Mysta (7.7K) have become the most popular in NijiEN history. I'm not sure about projections or 'cannibalisation' but I do know that Luxiem have been the most explosive NijiEN wave to date. They trended in Japan for their first time ever last night, too.

Catering to fujos is the only point against watching them, for me (hopefully the fujobait won't be as common in the NijiEN boys as it seems in my initial impressions though). To be fair, I can't stand too much GFE either.

Other than that, it's pretty much business as usual: find personalities you like streaming content you like, throw a few bucks their way if you want to and can spare it, don't get parasocial, etc
