It's hilarious how hard he projects, being a college dropout and objective loser. I read around 10,000 pages a year not counting internet forum shitposting or research for work. Judging by Patrick's grasp of the language my guess is there are months where I read more than he has in the past decade (not counting twitter).

Patti-chan lacks talent, intelligence, ambition, work ethic and imagination, to succeed as a writer on the long term, you need at least two of these. Even midwits like Pat can make a living writing schlock, but when you're spending 12 hours a day drinking and responding to trolls on twitter there is no chance that he'll ever improve as a writer or a human being. The funny thing about that is that Anthony - the funniest and arguably most brutal of the three, was by far the biggest faggot about it when the fans started to turn him. This man once played car crashing sound effects when a guy who's daughter was killed in a car wreck called in and was almost in tears. That guy actually had the audacity to say "you people treat cruelty like it's a video game" when the subreddit first started to fuck with him.

What was it that set him off so badly, you might ask? Well be bombed at a roast, horribly, which he wouldn't accept. But the real thing that made him lose it completely was his relationship with tranny cosplayer, Sue Lightning being exposed. The subreddit discovering the fact that he'd invited her over to his house and they also went to a hotel together embarrassed him greatly and he made her delete all evidence of it off her social media and do an AMA where she denied anything sexual happening between them.

He also offered to pay $5K to anyone who could get the subreddit shut down when somebody tweeted this gif to him around the time of his mother's funeral...

It is worth pointing out that Anthony has been having problems with the fans long before he was fired. Beige pointed out in one of the episodes of his series that Anthony had a long history of drama on various fan forums dating back before him and Opie were on satellite radio.

Anthony has always been a thin-skinned, vindictive psychopath. It only took his career going down the drain to make people accept it. I am sure Pat had no idea what he walking into when he got into his initial fight with the OnA subreddit. But even if he did he still would have done it anyway because that is who he is. Pat will never let any slight against him go, and he'll wage complete war no matter who the target is because he can't let himself look bad.

It's starting to look like this WorldCon was nothing but a super spreading event for covid since a bunch of attendees are now running fevers and know people that have tested positive already. They're urging everyone who was there to get tested ASAP. Bet you fatass hasn't even thought for a second about getting himself tested. I'm sure he can dismiss not having anyone show up for a book signing - aside from Joe Haldemon, who drew a big line, the longest that I saw was for Scalzi, and that was maybe 12 people. beyond that, Pat not having anyone show up for a book signing isn't a failure by Worldcon 2021 standards, it was the norm. No wonder he thinks his career is doing okay when he's measuring himself against this crowd.

Larry Correia meanwhile draws hundreds to each signing, Christopher Paolini actually draws bigger lines at Dragoncon than some movie stars, and guys like Orson Scott Card show up to one or two shows a year and it's the highlight of the event, with people coming from states away.
