would now be a good time to blow all my savings on silver bullion coins?
FOMO is never a good motivator, if you have a couple thousand lying around that you have no other use for and don't mind losing then sure dump that right into PM's, don't just buy silver though buy some gold as well. Realistically gold and silver will never go to zero, and the current situation we find ourselves in make them assets of particular interest; still I would recommend doing your own research on the topic before dumping large sums into PM's, treat it like any other investment.

There are great resources on youtube, there's tons of junk channels that are just doomer spergery, but there's some gold nuggets as well. I'll link a few below.

"A person should only buy so much gold as their level of understanding allows". Belangp has been posting fantastic videos for near a decade now, he's made sound arguments for investing in gold both inside the current system, and for its potential collapse. His channel is a great resource.

Mike Maloney is the OG when it comes to Silver and Gold shills on youtube, wouldn't recommended watching his regularly posted content as it's just generic silver sperging, and he's rather old now. His hidden secrets of money series(of which I've linked the two best episodes) is probably the best explanation you'll find online for what we're currently experiencing.

Economic Research is a very small channel(run by a married couple) that has an ongoing series in which they detail every major financial crash that's occurred throughout history. I must stress they are very small, and rather amateurish when it comes to presentation skills, but they have very good break downs of what happened and why. They also do a weekly breakdown of financial news that usually has articles I missed, so I appreciate them for that as well, their takes are typically pretty unique.

How can we talk about precious metals without the input of a jew? Rafi Farber touches more on doomer topics, but he backs it up with his knowledge on austrian economics. He does good article break downs, and helps you to read through the lines of economic events. I like him, but he's a bit autistic and not for everyone.

Finally I'll drop a link to an interview with London Paul, when I found this dude a few months ago his takes on geopolitics just seemed to jive so well with my feelings about the current events of the world, and where its headed that I instantly became a fan. He speaks a lot about the coming changes to the financial system. His own content is behind a paywall @thesiriusreport.com. The man who host's the interview is also a decent resource, but I'd sort his channel by popularity as he posts everyday, and a lot of it is rather redundant.

Not sure what experience if any you have dealing with PM's but there are tons of resources if you'll only look for them(don't just take the word of some speds on kiwifarms); a good place to ask basic questions, and find even more resources would be the Precious Metals General PMG on /BIZ/, though if you're just staring out I would avoid any of the schizo level takes.

I actually think cash is the safest place to be right now. Yes, inflation might chip half of your value away in short order, but if the markets crash 70% (not unlikely) and the government puts capital controls in place during its currency reset, you'll be glad to have it.
This, having a decent stack of cash on hand is essential. I watched an interview with a man from lebanon(a country which experienced hyperinflation 2 or so years ago) and he said that one of the first actions the government took was to freeze everyone's bank accounts. To the date of the interview, which IRC was few months back, his bank account was still frozen.

Can't really buy guns here the government won't be all over but I will buy a couple of crossbows for hunting/defense. I'll be eating badgers or roadkill before this shit's over.
Unless you live in Japan, China, or some major city like NYC or London, there actually are ways to jump through the hoops and legally buy a gun, even if it fucking sucks compared to what I can walk into a gun store and pick up no questions asked (besides the lame ATF form). I think a lot of it is often linked to hunting, so consider picking it up. I really regret never learning it as a kid like some people I went to school with did, but it's an insanely useful skill.

Also, roadkill is great to eat. People laugh at it and call you a hick, but if you hit it and can process it (or get someone to process it), it's no different than buying a steak. A lot of commonly roadkilled animals are great eating, especially if you hit a farm animal like a sheep or a goat.

Something sus is going on in Malta.

Nadur land dispute: Church says it could not forsee 2019 land registry decision - A land dispute has raised questions about whether a section of Maltese properties are actually the property of the title holders.

A Sunny Place For A Shady Online Business - Malta has been having money laundering issues.

Maltese businesses facing ‘constellation of shocks’ - The economy is struggling despite the EU pumping money into it.

I forgot again: Davos is dead

That last one is how you really know shit is about to hit the fan. The wealthiest and most powerful people in the world, who can (and do) easily afford the best security money can buy do not feel safe going there. What does that tell you? Exactly.

I found this guy real name bill palmer
age: 44
occupation runs the Palmer report and the twitter account 920835CF-FBC8-407D-91F4-F9F87E1EB661.jpeg

It's been turned into an online meeting, apparently, so they're still willing to meet up as long as it's not in meat space.

Indicates that the people who would normally attend the Davos convention are concerned about gathering, physically, in the same place and whatever has them concerned isn't something they feel they can prevent by hiring security.

Normally, I would say "COVID", but surely they know that with proper nutrition and things like Ivermectin, it's a joke. Certainly all those maskless politicians and celebrities sure treat it like one. Anyone know the fatality rate of COVID among populations that received the favor of Moloch?

There's no way they're actually concerned about COVID. The masks and jabs and restrictions are for plebs. There have already been leaks of wealthy gatherings where only the hired help were obligated to wear masks. The people with money were maskless.

BTW just as a point of comparison, Russia's rate is 8.5%.

I went to a Kentucky Derby party in May that had a lot of Richie Ritches--like actual race horse owners and their hangers-on. NOBODY had a mask on. Except the help. It was disgusting. But telling.

Don't know where you live, but from what I know about gun laws in other countries, even places with the most stringent gun laws still allow ownership of a bolt-action centerfire rifle. It's not the choice for self-defense of course, but it's (caliber dependent) an ideal choice for medium to large game. You gotta eat first.

A real world example of how far game meat can go. My nephew shot a 700lb bull moose a couple of weeks back, and after processing ended up with 270lbs of steaks, burger, sausage, and stew meat. It's good eating and with all expenses involved, that 270lbs cost a little over $100. The meat processor likes to barter and took a very fair and reasonable amount of meat as payment.

Even if you have to jump through a bunch of hoops, it could be worth your while to do it and get a means better than a crossbow to bag food with.

ETA: And Save the Loli is absolutely right about roadkill. Where I live, if you hit a moose or deer (and if you survive), you can legally claim and tag the animal just like if you took it during season.

Since we're talking about using precious metals to weather Great Depression II its worth mentioning that this happened in the United States during the last depression:
EXECUTIVE ORDER 6102.
Now circumstances have changed a lot since then, but afaik its still perfectly legal for the government to seize your PM (or basically anything else) and pay you with rapidly deprecating dollars. And don't expect anyone else to stand up for you either if something like this happens; desperate people despise hoarders and speculators. If you're buying gold as a borderline prepper instead of an investor you'll need to minimize the paper trail.

In most places in the U.S. ghost/zip guns are legal to make and keep in your house but it gets muddy on the use of them but for self defense in the home.....70/30 on it being legal by technicality. you'll for sure be on a glow boy list for getting the design docs though.

Security guys all shoot the shit with each other and overhear alot of stuff. If things looked to be about to be in flux i would not want to risk my guys saying something they shouldn't, taking a bribe to bug me, or going to any high profile evil inc meetings right before i fuck the plebs. bad optics. stay home zoom in watch ip2.

Maybe I've reached peak cynicism, but I think it might be that they're simply LARP'ing, "doing their part" to (re)-stoke fear among the unwashed masses. People have definitely been noticing everything you guys said, that the 1% have been ignoring the "rules" and gathering maskless without distancing, even since last year. So now, in response to the mildest variant yet THIS RELENTLESS DEADLY KILLER OMICRON, of course TPTB reverse the narrative and pretend to be quaking in their boots. How will the masses react? "Omg, these elites never miss a party if they can help it. This time it must be SOOPER serious!"

And of course, they do this with the holidays coming up. After all, can't have the plebs enjoying themselves, or getting back to normal. As soon as they sense any complacency, they invent a new scare.

I've had venison from "oops we just hit a deer", grilled up the next day it was delicious! Too bad for the guy's truck, but we consoled him by pointing out that at least it helped tenderize it lol.

I wish I had the thunk provoking react. You could read it a lot of ways, I think. Personally, I'm liking the 'don't want the hired help gossiping' theory, but that's just me. Since it's now tangentially related:

CES 2022 starts to fall apart as T-Mobile, Amazon, and others bail on in-person conference

The tech companies have cancelled their yearly expo as well.

Yes, this is true too, and it's why you DO NOT want to keep your PM in a bank vault. Keep it at home, bury it like a pirate, do whatever, but do not keep it in a bank.

Best solution is to make a map to the buried treasure (claim you buried it on public lands or in a lake like I did), make the G-Men waste a lot of time and money searching for it, and then bump them off when they're tired if you feel like making an enemy of the feds.

Because this is really the first time an event of this type has been organized. Those guys get paid really badly, too.

No, I think that so many things are happening at such a pace, and they have a very high profile and lots of people who don't like them to be very nice about it, losing their fucking minds idk if i'd want to be showing up for that either. Good security gets paid great. I'm sure they hire the best. They still gossip like the real house wives of atlanta, why risk your bullet sponge let it slip to someone your banging a third guy theres wife and now suddenly your on a chopping block?
