My view on Phil is similar to the death penalty.

I think rotting in a cage for the rest of your life is way harder than rotting in a cage for a bit and then being painlessly killed.

I want to see Phil struggle with his spending addiction until everything is taken from him and he's back in his parents place after Kat takes Jasper with her to her new boyfriends apartment. I want Phil to be so broke that his parents has to buy him a ticket back to their house on the Greyhound. I want to see papa Dave interrupt Phils streams asking him to be quiet as he's got work tomorrow.

And during all of this I want to see Phils WWE Champions roster still grow slowly. I want Phil to end a 15+ year career of making 6 figures end with him owning absolutely nothing. The pain and regret at this moment will be fucking unbearable for him.

If this happens we will know that karma is real and every bit of it will be his own doing.

He actually said they, the developers of the game he played should’ve asked for permission to use footage of him playing the game they designed!

Phil couldn't just be happy that the developers of the game had a positive take on his stream and used it as an example. He had to give another 62IQ take on Fair Use, where according to him he's allowed to monetize him playing the game because of fair use but you legally have to either ask him for permission or pay him to use his footage. Then he had to bitch for like 10 minutes about how he's not making any money or views from them using his footage at GDC.

Has anyone tried the Phil method at work? Like stopping every 30 minutes to beg for tips?

Imagine this if you will.
You are sitting in a restaurant for working lunch with people from work. You are having a good time, getting some work done.
Now imagine the waitress coming up to you with her wallet open asking you to put money in.
I do not understand Phil's "it's just business" cope with his nagging for tips. If you answer entitlement to almost every question you have it fits perfectly however.

Oh, and nothing we do will convince people like ndo103, Jaxx_raxor, guitarplayersomenumber, SuperBlindFuck etc. People tried to talk to them but they're just following Phil's orders and ignoring everything and everyone that says something remotely negative about DSP. They will only stop giving him money when they're dead or unconscious.

Those world views are only broken if the subject wishes so.
Phil used to be much better with manipulation, now he is just brazen fuck who expect money just by sitting there.

I haven't see Spiderman yet but I'm going to feel like shit because I know that my money could have gone to a regular upstanding guy like Phil. He's not a soulless corporation that wastes on dumb shit and never has my best interest in mind, Phil provides us with quality on demand content unlike those fucks Disney, Marvel, And Sony.

It's not even the leaks, tbh. This guy straight up said "I understand that people can't attend every stream to support" which means he's expecting every single person watching the stream to give him money. And if you give him money the wrong way (aka Superchats and memberships) he will just "thank you" in the most disrespectul way possible.

Then, you have people in his chat just basically trying to not get banned. Asked a question that he didn't like? Banned. Asked about his wife? Not your business. Asked on what he spent the early stream money? Not your fucking business + banned. Understandably, people will start talking with each other (sometimes with themselves @JimJimJim ), that's normal. But then he either ignores his chat completely for the rest of the stream or just say that dumshit about "why is nobody talking to me?".

My point is: even without all those leaks (Discord, Facebook, BoA) he's just a terrible streamer to watch and/or interact. Most of them just go there to talk to each other, but they have to pay to do that. My question is: why those people just don't create a Discord, watch any other small streamer or even start livestreaming by themselves? Is our attention SO IMPORTANT that they have to waste their time supporting someone they don't really care about? They could easily create a community for them without this massive toxicity, but they insist on this... Well, guess they're called wheelchairs for a reason.

No that rant is necessary, couldn't have said it better myself. It's so frustrating to see someone so greedy so disgusting and still be rewarded for it.

Just watched the Top 10 Worst DSPGaming 2021 Moments video and gotta say we have been spoiled this year. The video was really good by the way; better than last year's which had a bit of a-logging that left me with a sour note.

Fuck, I could have sworn the Anonymouse leaks happened last year.
Also, I'm glad the Pewdiepie rant was featured. To me, that was the peak of this year. The bank account leaks and the Twitch departnership were the main events but the delusion and projection of that Pewdiepie rant will not ever be topped.
Lastly, I appreciated number 6. The number of games he skipped along with the amount of remasters he did play were illuminating. He fucking hates videogames.

Then went on to explain the criteria that constitutes fair use and that clip was used under that criteria.

He seemed to be under the impression the presenter got paid for the presentation and that's just not how those conferences work.

He maybe got paid company time but GDC don't pay for presentations, they didn't even offer discounts to those who were presenting talks, when I checked and GDC isn't cheap to attend (usually too expensive for most game design students / smaller studios)

The best part is that it's only going to get worse from here, as there are only so many remasters and walking sims available. He's going to have to essentially start re-playing his entire back catalog just to avoid TIHYDP material, and boy is that going to hit his tips jar HARD.

I don't think Phil "picked up" anything, as that implies he has the ability to absorb any of the stimulus around him. His history disproves that whole idea. He was born a pigroach, there legit was nothing life could do.

Any normal human being with self-awareness who had been proven a liar and fool as many times as Phil has would leave the Internet and never return. It takes someone eternally clueless---the dumb guy who thinks he's clever---to continue to fuck up in public and pretend it never happened. And that's DSP.

My one Christmas wish for DSP would be for him to have to answer these questions in a public forum where he couldn't block people. I know it won't happen because his world would implode, but to see the in-person humbling would be a fitting ending to DSP's 13-year legacy.
