Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Bro at this point racist trump did more for my student debt than this new old man.

I like that even people that think Trump was literally Hitler are acknowledging that life was better under him than Biden.

So Shumer is forcing Warnock (D-GA), Cortes Masto (D-NV), and Mark Kelly (D-AZ) to vote for BBB in a virtue signal during a contentious midterm where they are already down in the polls to support a president that is unpopular by double digits in each of those states.

Seems logical to me.

Methinks Schumer wants to smoke out the other senators that are currently hiding behind Sinema and Manchin. I don't think it's as much a show of strength as Schumer thinks it is, however.

Crazy theory: Within 5 years, Schumer will be #MeToo like his buddy Cuomo. They just don't have his replacement lined up yet (and no it won't be AOC.)

Kirsten Gillibrand though is so ineffective that she has been NY senator for over a decade (she took over Hillary's spot), and nobody has ever heard of her. I only looked it up myself last year out of sheer curiosity.

To be fair, Biden wouldn't so much "grab Manchin by the lapels" and probably just have Ilhan Omar pay one of her Somali friends to have Manchin assassinated and roll the dice that the GOP governor appoints a RINO who will play ball with Biden's BBB in exchange for kickbacks and other bribes.

In all fairness, where I live gas prices were up to almost four dollars for awhile and now they're below three again. This is just due to Biden not being a fuck head and deciding to use our pipelines that already exist I think.

They actually DO have a replacement for Schumer: Elizabeth Warren. Warren was made Schumer's heir apparent in the Senate as her 30 pieces of silver in 2016 to A. Not run that year and B. Stab Bernie Sanders in the back and endorse Hillary instead.

Also, Schumer is something of a major player in the DNC and someone who both the Obama and Clinton sects are able to do business with. They'll never let anyone #MeToo him, unless Elizabeth Warren gets tired of waiting and decides to expedite her ascension and even then, Schumer might survive it since (like Pelosi) he knows where all of the bodies are buried in the DNC.
