So let it sink in that this fat retard is crying poor while sitting in his Zelda jammies door dashing food, wine and opening WWE packs while some family out there could actually need the help because they actually don't know how to pay their bills, put food on the table and whatever else.
I think Nigel said everything that needed to be said. However, I understand your point @gettingthatgrooveback and I agree to some degree. Yes, we shouldn't get angry at him because it's mostly useless and he doesn't give a fuck about morals or the people he hurt.

But I ask you to understand our point of view. When you have to live in a shithole country, where you have whole families living in the streets with nothing but a roof made of garbage bags and wood, where you have kids searching for food in trash cans or trying to sell candy bars to buy food, it gets to you, man. It's hard to not feel upset about it, especially when this piece of shit talk about "not having money to buy breakfast".

Phil's harmful to the truly disabled and fucked like Rob Warren, who really should not be wasting any money on this beggar. If Phil had any conscience, he'd refund every contribution he's ever made.

Also the truly stupid dysfunctional rejects like timboslice Tim VanDreel who have put themselves into bankruptcy twice yet continue burning money to Phil and degenerate female streamers.

Listening to DSP trying to share some wisdom is embarrassing, he's so serious about it, and think he's saying something truly insightful. He's literally just spouting whatever the latest trend is though, his worldview seems like it's basically the latest twitter headlines, and he thinks just repeating them to us is somehow insightful.

It basically boils down to:

''Guys, ok, listen, YOU might not know this this but I DO as a mature adult. A long time a ago things were different ok? and now they are different, things changed and now they are good ok''

Without any original thought out elaboration from him.

I would argue that it depends on your definition of harmless mate.
Sure he doesn't hurt people, and doesn't cause them physical or bodily harm. However that's just because he is a massive vagina that only talks big from behind his little gated community and cum stained keyboard. Phil has taken from society, and he has returned fuck all. No one will be at a loss if we don't get another Street Fighter stream, another "Podcast" or glasses/vest/hat animation.
Everytime Phil is on stream he lies about being near poverty, he's pulling those heart strings as hard as he can. It works for him because unlike himself, people like helping others. So they find him and hear him whinge about being poor and they might think something like "Oh this old bloke is really in financial trouble. I'll give him this tenner, he might need it more". Some people aren't aware that he makes upwards of 100,000$ yearly. Most of the people supporting him, or falling for his scam are children, teens or actual wheelchairs that don't even make half as much. So let it sink in that this fat retard is crying poor while sitting in his Zelda jammies door dashing food, wine and opening WWE packs while some family out there could actually need the help because they actually don't know how to pay their bills, put food on the table and whatever else. So I believe Phil is greatly harming his fellow man.
What also does my head in is that Phil is in fact a con artist. Not only has he time and time again scammed his fans, and banned them when they called him out. He also scammed the government, several times. I will just mention the very clear bankruptcy scam as the most recent one.
So while he's not going out there and beating up kids to steal their money, I believe he is still harmful with what he's doing.

Phil is a manipulator but not an abuser. That's my 2 cents. If his "victims" have a moment of clarity, it would be very easy for them to abandon the situation and carry on with their lives.

Sorry, I do apologise. I didn't want to start this conversation. I won't respond to any more replies.

I feel like I lost several brain cells while I heard him talk about The Matrix trilogy.

According to Phil, alottapeuple only remember the first film because it had “nice graphics” (valedictorian confusing CGI with graphics, btw). Whenever The Matrix is brought to discussion when talking with friends, usually what’s brought up is the philosophical questions the movie brings up, in particular with how it’s a quite obvious take on Plato’s allegory of the cave.

The only thing Phil remembers about that movie is Neo dodging bullets and that the plot sucks, what an insightful take.
Remember his retarded Sopranos ending rant back in I wanna say May this year? He said that it was confusing, up to interpretation (of course Phil doesn't think Tony got whacked) and an example of bad writing. What's even funnier is that in April of this year David Chase finally admitted that Tony got whacked in the last episode. Mind you, it was already pretty obvious, if you watched at least one mob movie you'd know that the Members Only jacket guy acted just like a mafia hitman in those movies (glanced 2 times at Tony to confirm the target, then went to the toilet to get his gun). Not to mention all the foreshadowing before the final episode, like when Bobby Bacala said that when you get shot in the head you probably don't even know it, it all just suddenly goes blank. And how Meadow is written as Tony's guardian angel who saves him from trouble on several occasions, in the last episode she has trouble parking her car and couldn't to the restaurant on time, if you look at how they sat she would've blocked the hitman's shot because she'd be in between him and Tony.

Sorry for the spergy Sopranos rant, but I just wanted to illustrate how he needs everything spelled out to him like he's a child. Which is even worse because Matrix is pretty obvious and heavy-handed with its symbolism.

I doubt we will agree but it's a fair point.
I think manipulating people out of money is harmfull. Once they're aware of what he's doing they speak up, get banned and a new whale enters. That's why I also think he will always find people that support him.

Mate all good, we debate about all sorts of stuff here anyway. I doubt anyone will mind.

I get where you’re coming from, and for the sake of convenience I don’t fault you for it - I’ll just leave it at that really. Like someone else mentioned - everyone is here for their own reasons but everyone for sure here at least gets a pretty good laugh at Phil.

You see the difference between your situation and Phils?

I will also go out on a limb and guess that you and your friends are not sub 90 IQ shut ins that haven't read a book, and take a generel interest in the world around you and other people.

Phils never developed further than the 10 year old that goes '' 'splosions hur dur, cool''. But I do hope we get more DSP talks movies and/or TV shows, should be cringe as fuck.

The whole Rob situation is just so fucked up. If not refunding the money, the least he could do was doing something special for Rob.

Gift him a membership, make him a mod, just something I bet it would make the guys entire year. Rob is legit the only one of the paypigs I can't be disgusted by, most other streamers would have done something for such a fan.

never understood the whole "we mustn't hate phil....we must be better than him.....we must rise above............."

maybe it's just the fact i've been around so long i'm desensitized to it but i don't hate phil at all. would it be hilarious if he fucking died on stream though? absolutely. would it be funny as fuck if he had to move back in with his parents? sure.

am i sitting here, fucking rock hard, furious at the fact it hasn't happened yet? not at all.

hate phil don't hate phil. doesn't matter. just view him as a cartoon. phil's life has no meaning what so ever other than my entertainment.

i get why phil could elicit feelings of hatred, i don't really get why one would argue that you shouldn't hate him, it's more understandable to than not, but overall i think the healthiest and must amusing view is to just view him as essentially a fictional character.

but i also quite lack empathy so maybe this will just come across as grossly insane. my point is i see people here often struggling with the "we must protect phil don't get involved" vs "i hate phil so much, why life gotta be so unfair" mentalities.

really think you should just sit back and realize phil's life has no value and doesn't matter. he literally lives only to provide entertainment, whether he means to or not, he has nothing else.

So yeah, right up there with his Avengers take. Minus the 11-minute shit he took in the theatre. Seriously, who the fuck leaves to take a shit in the theatre in the middle of a movie?

What's interesting is that is what the topic of the new film became right here on this very forum. Hi Phail!

Informative Phil is a side we can all laugh at, because good lord does he miss the mark every fucking time.

It's all good, you brought up valid points, which Phil never would. And yeah, The Matrix isn't difficult to understand, yet the pigroach still fails miserably. I would love to know if he read "The Little Engine That Could" as a child and got the moral of the story. I'm betting that he didn't, and then disregarded it when his dad explained it, thinking that Dave was an idiot. I mean, that's what he literally always does when someone corrects him.

I remember seeing Phil post on his Instagram about a coffee mug someone gifted him, that he still uses years later, thinking that made him look appreciative. That's his idea of being grateful, publishing a flex post about how people give him things.

Meanwhile, Max Dood regularly makes bets with the chat that involve hundreds of gift subs on the line. Can't imagine why he would have the better rep, huh? lol

I think we should be more concerned about the sheer number of Phil stories that come with mentions of him taking a shit.

I doubt Phil's claim about his 401k because anything he ever says at any point about being in dire financial straits is always horse shit. He has never known such circumstances, and he knows it. He cashed that out because he just didn't have as much money as before, and his stupidity doesn't tolerate that in the short term, even as it fucks him in the long run.

The rest of the story, I believe, except for his real motive for reporting them was that HE had it out for THEM. And then he got himself fired for being a shit.
I knew that his claims of "financial distress" were bullshit, that's why I put "stay afloat" in quotations. He was seeing a slight dip in revenue over the years due to his declining viewership, but it wouldn't be anywhere near enough to not afford his lifestyle thanks to his constant begging for tips.

A commonality I see in all of his jobs dropping him is that it seems to happen on the first actionable thing he does, almost as if they were simply waiting to fire him. The proof that he will never learn from his mistakes, learning to suck up to management.
Phil's MOM is 50% Polish and 50% Italian.

Phil is 100% Italian.

:story:

He will mention his mom's polish ancestry but never his own.
Because he's the most uncultured swine out there. He only cares about the stereotypes around Italy, the food more specifically given it's the only thing that he can ever honestly admit to enjoying. He sees it as a mark of superiority.

I never really knew who Max was before I started following Phil, and even then I just only kinda knew anything about him.

Last year for some reason his playthrough of RE4 (PC remake version) popped up in my feed and I thought ''well why not just watch maybe 30 min'' as I REALLY like RE4. Ended up watching the whole playthrough and thinking ''well that's how you hold an audience, and he seems like a cool guy''.

I then watched him playing Guardians, just to compare him directly to DSP, and digging more into who Max is and was.

MaxDood really is alternate timeline DSP, or what DSP desperately wants to be but never can.

Well thanks for attending my MaxDood simping TedTalk.

Kind of reminds me of a joke a psychoanalyst made about Italian men: "every mom tells their child that when they are grown up they have to take care of themselves. That's why Italian men are so small" Phil never grew out of his child phase or maybe he devolved at one point. The thing is he never had a real wake up call. the bankruptcy should have been THE wake up call but he somehow got what he wanted. His departnering was perhaps a dent but he is still doing the same as before though I think the air is getting thinner. Though I find him as a subject to examine fascinating: he somehow manages to get through life by simply acting like a child or sometimes like a bull in a chinashop
