I'll note that like Cuck Wendigo, this guy probably actually does produce lots of words. That's why they hire him.
Are these his all time numbers? He's really fat at this. How accurate are they? And how much would he get per sale, assuming it didn't get swallowed up in paying back the advance?
Without knowing anything on this subject I presume they hand out 3 book deals to anybody, expecting to lose the advance - on the off chance one makes it big?

Any chance you can look up Anthony Cumia in the Nielsen Bookscan? Book is - Permanently Suspended: The Rise and Fall... and Rise Again of Radio's Most Notorious Shock Jock. It's been industry standard for ages... not sure personally if its a relic or not. Usually done because its enough for a trilogy or for an author to find thier strengths and an audience... half fail, but another chunk at least breaks even and goes from contract to contract turning small profits, and occasionally one makes a real profit and one REALLY hits the jackpot.
Tor for example is more or less a bunch of flotsam kept afloat by money brought in by Robert Jordan, Orson Scott Card, Brandon Sanderson, Terry Brooks, and bunch of other old white guys that the diversity hires they sign these days just can't dream of measuring up to.
Damned odd to hear someone else talking about this to an audience. Cool.
Woah mama is that number gonna be dismalAny chance you can look up Anthony Cumia in the Nielsen Bookscan? Book is - Permanently Suspended: The Rise and Fall... and Rise Again of Radio's Most Notorious Shock Jock.
I don't know how anon you want to remain but like I really love talking publishing stuff and highlighting how shitty the industry is if you want to reach out and chat it sounds like we have a lot of similar thoughts. 231 book sales is what i'd expect from an amazon no-name self-publisher who couldn't be bothered to do anything more than tag it on social media a few times for marketing. So, I have an early present for all of you.
Pat's Nielsen BookScan sales numbers.
Wew lad are they bad.
The Ark: 2,631
Trident's Forge: 1,087
Children of the Divide: 530
Gate Crashers: 970
Starship Repo: 526
In the Black: 231
No wonder nobody has ever seen his books in stores. With sales that bad, his publishers might as well have set his advance on fire.
Such a punchable face. Drinky looks to be feeling no pain. Three maybe four Irish coffees to start the day and constantly nipping from her flask(s) to 'ward off the cold'. It's one way to cope with being Mrs. P.S. Tomlinson.
He does live in a ha' hovel, so maybe. There's only one context I know of for "ha'penny", which is "ha'penny-tuppeny" as a term to describe a situation where things are cheap and shitty. I wonder if an English visitor was describing Patrick's house or something.
This faggot has relied on handouts all his life, go figure. Has he ever held consistent, paid employment?-$100k+ from scamming two publishers
-$100k from his fellow kid raping sci-fi writers
-$???k from defrauding american taxpayer PPP loans
-$???k from dykewife
It's only fair that we compare Fatrick to his peers. I think we should know the sales for Empress Theresa by Norman Boutin and The Wogglebug's Hidden Truth Behind the History of Oz by Cynthia Hanson. Maybe throw in Reaper's Creek by Onision for good measure. If it's in the database? Sure, I can promise that. Him, Chuck Wendig... any other requests?
he was a 'martial arts and firearm instructor' at one point (lol). This faggot has relied on handouts all his life, go figure. Has he ever held consistent, paid employment?
Also a pool lifeguard, where he admits/brags (I can't tell the difference) that he failed to resuscitate one or two people, leaving them dead.he was a 'martial arts and firearm instructor' at one point (lol).
If I opened my eyes to this

I'd close them and never open them again too. Pat killed those people.
Jack, someone upon whom I routinely wish death, makes Fat Rick look functional in comparison.-$100k+ from scamming two publishers

cant help but keep drawing ja/ck/ comparisons, shit jack actually, at one point, had a moderately successful youtube channel (even today, in its dismal state I guarantee he brings in 10x as much as Richard), had one non-abandoned kid and reconciled with the one he strangled and abandoned eventually so that stroked out boomer is somehow, incredibly, a more productive and functional member of society.
There are literally people dead because of how much of a failure Fat Rick is. I've known a couple lifeguards, they were typical stoner dudes, basically blasted out of their gourds on ganja every waking minute, not one of them lost a single person they were protecting. Those mothers would dive in at all costs and pull someone to shore. It hardly needs to be said, but I'm sure real lifeguards fail to save lives too, except they have a better track record than 0-2.
This thread is really special for queers like me. It really brings me back to a hilarious time and place on the internet.I'm very happy to see the return of the handsome [OnA victim] strategy
