I can kind of see where he's coming from. The 3.5e mechanics show up in the most unusual places and for a long time seemed to be the default RPG stats mechanic.

Being free, the D20 SRD was the GNU of tabletop frameworks. We see the same thing with PBtA and other free systems now.

@Adamska and I just watched this video that he posted less than an hour ago and boy, this one is amazing, he basically admits in this video that Chaa'lt is real in another dimension somewhere. He literally believes Cha'alt is his CWCville ladies and gentlemen. I recommend everyone watch this, it is only four minutes long and it is golden.

I'm relistening to confirm this to make sure, and it seems like he actually says he tries to put himself into the mindset that it's real. He doesn't go full CWCville, but he wishes it was and he treats it like virtual reality and matrix.
So it's still insane and worth archiving, but not quite as insane as I heard initially since the first bit where he says he tries to put himself into that mindset is quiet. He also does say from a certain point of view the setting is real and alive anyway.
So my thinking is when he's utterly baked he thinks it's real on some level. He also might snap and fully believe it soon.
Also he openly calls himself his publishing company. Nope. That's not how corporations work; corporations are supposed to divide you the person from the business.

This is what really stuck out to me:
In this game, they explore the megadungeon and they basically fought demons who were found fucking some women (though from what they could tell, it didn't seem like the women were in distress) and of course they fucked the women afterwards because of course.
He also talked about this mechanic him and his buddy on MeWe came up with called the "Confessional Mechanic" which sounds demented. You basically treat the game like some reality show or something? What?
He mentioned this in the video, but it is so much weirder to see it in writing where he meditates on his little sigil he has in his notebook as some chaos magic ritual, how autistic.

For some reason I thought there was a chance he was going to do something with the Gods actively watching the party or w/e, and now I don't know why I ever thought that.
Edit: Much as I'm loathed to admit it, there is something almost usable from this. The "off camera interview" would be a great way to interface with players and check in on how the campaign is going. But once again, Darrick is running oneshots and megadungeons at most. No idea why you need to check in during.
I "get" what he's doing with his Sigil, a routine to sit down and get into the game world.
I do something similar from time to time, especially when I'm building maps I like to make up little stories about this or that little feature. I have NPCs that 'speak' to me. But I know its not 'magic', and it is not that NPC talking or some 12th dimensional psychic communication from the plane where
I really doubt Darrick's Brain (contains 40000mg of THC) is able to tell the difference between reality and "Its actually an elder god speaing to me through this sigil. Its telling me to kill my wife, BRB"

The "confessional" from InSpectres serves a purpose. But InSpectres is a different kind of game than whatever OSR trace job he's playing. It's inspired by Ghostbusters and VERY narrative. Players can break off into "confessional" once per sesh, and take center stage to alter details of the story. Not something I'd play all the time, but it's a great and easy pick-up game once in a while.
As far as Darrick's obsession with demon semen, I don't get it, either. Especially since his "slime" tends to be more Nickelodeon than Lovecraft. And am I the only one who thinks it's kind of gross that he borrows stuff from his daughters to use in his sex-infused games? Bruh.

Darrick doing movie reviews. Darrick reviews Don't Look Up and the Matrix 4. I never seen Don't Look Up so I don't have a comment, but he says it is good and it is actually quite anti-left than what it was intended and all the stuff about bashing the conservatives is alright because he is inoculated against it. I love how he tries to act like he was on the right's side the whole time and totally not a bandwagon hopper.
As for the Matrix, he totally backpedals on his tweet after a lot of people gave him flack for it saying it was good and even when he does that, he still concedes that he likes it for the most part and he enjoyed it and gave it "three out of five stars." Not even an old WEG ruleset, but the REUP (Revised, Expanded, Updated) fan project, that is distributed FREE in PDF online. He was taking something that had been freely donated and charging for it. Part of the reason it's "free" fan material is because it uses copyrighted material, of course. You can get the latest version here: http://d6holocron.com/downloads/books/REUP.pdf
There exist similar fan communities for other previously licensed RPGs that can no longer be produced. Marvel Super Heroes, for example, has a thriving fan community that churns out impressive free products on the regular.

So out of curiosity, I decided to look at what Darrick was subscribed to on his Youtube Channel and well, it is pretty interesting. A few of his fellow OSR fanboys which is not surprising. Surprisingly though, there was quite a few poker Youtube channels which I didn't know Darrick was into poker at one point which I found interesting.
Then of course he is subscribed to Clownfish TV which, well, I am both surprised and not surprised, surprised in that they really shit on Star Wars, Disney as a whole, and consoomers a lot, but not surprised due to their anti-wokeness about stuff.
There is also this one PUA channel called Better Bachelor and also this anti-feminist tradwife named Brittany Sellner which I find ironic he would be into her considering he sucks as a provider and has Danielle be the breadwinner and pretty much do all the work.
There are also a few female streamers he subscribed to, but looking at their content more, they seem to be less thots and aimed more at preteen girls into video games so I am pretty sure Brie and Illyria watch them. There is a lot of stuff that is pretty obviously stuff his kids watch.

Darrick has been pretty boring mostly, but I did notice on his Twitter he will be a guest at a con called TSR con. I look on the site and it looks like it is a similar concept to Darrick's own con he is putting on that is being run by Ernie Gygax, yes, the person who couldn't learn not to engage on social media with the woke haters and destroyed nu-TSR before it even took off, this sounds like a trainwreck. Also, Darrick is going to be a guest there because no masks or vaccines required, which, may or may not mean it gets shut down depending on Wisconsin state laws, which if that happens, Darrick will probably scream persecution and rally people around his con. Again, that's the thing about Darrick, his whole grifting model thrives on persecution hence why he can't be cancelled.
What I will say though is at least there is a rules page and it looks like it is better put together for a first time con than Vengercon.

Controversy has become an acceptable stand-in for talent in the minds of people like Venger and Pundejo.Like in that video posted earlier in the thread, where he says "Leftoids MAD OMG LOLZORZ!1!", that's a prime example. A poster on Pundit's site made a list of "woke" (Red) and "non-woke" (Green) game publishers, and everyone on social media was either laughing about it, or asking how to get on it. People were buying shirts that said, "I'm on the Red List". And the whole time Venger and Pundejo were going off about how "mad" and "ouraged" the EssJayDubs were about this list. But everyone was laughing about it, and laughing at them. Then, just like in Darrick's video, they pivoted to "They're just pretending not to be mad..."
Like, they really need this bad-boy image, which is weird and sad for dudes their age. Then, when they get any push-back, they either revel in it and brag about it, or start crying about CANCUL CULCHUR. Then again, if I had their "talent", I'd look for another angle, too.
