I genuinely don’t think she’s ever been happy for one moment of her life. The closest she gets is momentary relief from food. Can’t think about it too much bc I’ll start to pity her.

This latest episode added a lot to the field of red flags that Tammy went through some kind of recurring issue with sexual assault as a child. I wonder if some of the resentment she holds towards her mother is because her mother didn't protect her, or even possibly let it happen. All I can think about right now when it comes to Tammy are all those episodes of My 600-lb Life where shit like that ended up being the case, because she's showing the symptoms in spades. If I'm right, I don't blame her at all for feeling humiliated and not wanting that kind of thing out there, but she doesn't need to take it out on the people trying to help her. She would need to talk to someone about it, but absolutely not for television.

I hope I'm wrong and that she's just genuinely a shit person. I wouldn't wish that kind of abuse on anyone, and it would make me feel better if awful things just happened to awful people who brought it on themselves through no fault of anyone else. 🌈

Darlene got pregnant with Misty when she was 14 years old and then Misty got married for the first time when she was 15 (and her husband was 27).

Darlene is deeply, deeply fucked in the head and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if there's generations of sexual abuse and trauma hiding out in that family.

I do think Tammy was relatively happy around the time the Slaton Sisters (oops, sorry, Slaton's Sisters) YouTube channel formed and they mostly just did random vlogs from their home (most frequently the kitchen). But then Amy moved out after the fight she had with her step-dad (I think it was him, over cigarettes, of course) and moved in with the brother who is now often shown on the show. Tammy really hasn't been happy since and I do think there's a level of jealousy that Amy was able to kind of start a life of her own.

Back prior to Amy's leaving, they were basically together all the time. Both were essentially fused to the couch or a kitchen chair and neither had any real life outside vlogging. Sure, Amy was always thinner but still as much a loser as Tammy was and I think that made Tammy content. She had her twin (even if Tammy is a couple years older). That made her happy.

But it's never been the same since Amy left. She rarely visited home again because of her relationship with her step-dad (or step-brother, I don't remember), she then got married to Michael and eventually knocked up and while Tammy has at least gotten out of that house, she's still woefully behind Amy and it's not like Amy is all that advanced.

My guess is that Tammy dreams of that simple life where they're sittin' in ma's kitchen again filming a Chubby Bunny Challenge.

Even though Tammy is a genuine cunt I do have empathy for her considering how she was raised. She's a retarded fat hick who doesn't know anything other than being a retarded fat hick. She grew up with a bitch for a mother and no one really gave her any reason to aspire for anything further than being a sentient lump of fat. I think if someone gave Tammy a reason to live a life separate from binge eating and sitting on the couch (like how Amy wanted to get better so her and Michael could have a baby and now she wants to stay healthy to be a mom), she might have a decent shot at getting better. But she's also so, so mentally stunted. I think when you're fucked in the head you stay the same age you got fucked up. For Tammy she's a perpetual child because that's when she stopped maturing. Her family fed her whenever she had a tantrum and she never learned to deal with her emotions like an adult. So now all she knows to make herself feel better is to eat and eat, even if its killing her. I do pity her, despite her flaws, because she was doomed from the start. The worst part is that no one can make her want to get better. She's doomed to remain a fat cunt the rest of her days, and unfortunately TLC will happily fund her addiction to food as long as she makes for good television content.

I searched the specific phrase about Tammy's nachos and it brought up Russian video sites, but I could never find any comments for the videos.

I can definitely believe several personnel being required to get Tammy out (people have FR needed to take walls out of homes to get death fats before) BUT 22 seems a pretty sus number and Tammy has been able to get out just fine as of the last filming session, which was relatively recently (I think)

Also where was Tammy coming home from? She was in the hospital for poisoning recently. If she could get in the house why couldn't she get out? She's obese but still not THAT obese unfortunately. She could not have become so big 22 people have to get her out in such a short amount of time.

If it's a rural area, and they were volunteers, I could see it. Those guys probably all know who/where she is, and from what I've seen of VFD types, they LIVE for calls. As soon as it went out on the radio, I'm sure every single person on the team jumped in their jacked-up pickups and hauled ass over there, whether or not they were all needed.
