I agree with the above Kiwis that think her family is tired of the harassment, as they should be. Her family didn't ask for any of this shit. There are millions of people who haven't put their pics and profiles on friends only that don't get harassment like her family does, and especially has this last year. I find Chantal loathsome, but her family has done nothing. Their houses seem clean. They can't control how they look anymore than any of us can control our familial facial features. How they have been treated because of Chantal is pathetic, especially her grandmother's online obit. I will never agree to any justification for that bullshit. Chantal puts herself out there, so any attacks and criticism she receives are her own damn fault because she controls the narrative. Her family has no choice, so I completely understand them not posting pics and possibly not inviting her or making strict limitations on her. She has no one to blame but herself.

The reason she has haters is not because she is fat, she is a shit person who just happens to be fat. There are fat people on YouTube who are not shit. Her family has dealt with addiction before. One thing that they probably have done, that addiction family counselors will advise, is to set hard limits. You can come if... You can come but we will not... You can come but you will not... We all know what happens when someone give Chantal a rule. We are now seeing the temper tantrum. And while weed is legal in Canada, other than Rasta Aunt, we haven't seen any hard evidence her family uses. Yet her gifts revolved around drugs/booze because those are her Interests. Who wouldn't like drugs/booze as a gift?! AmIRight?! If she then called and a hard line was no pot/THC or booze, we get the start of the meltdown.

Chantal is never 100% honest about anything. There might be a truth of something under the layers of lies but never take her comments at face value.

"If you had kids who were having a rough time would you disown them?"

...probably means her family said, "you're more than welcome to come for Christmas but we don't want you high, you can't film us and certainly no Nader..."

She, of course, takes that to mean she isn't invited or her family now wants to disown her.

I WAS going to binge watch her shit from today but came home from a lovely Xmas Eve walk to catch much of her live. That was more than enough of her whining for me for any night never mind a lovely, relaxed Christmas Eve. I gots food & drink to enjoy!

Plus Rasta Aunt (she's so close to Gunt and so supportive) appears to have backed out of every plan Gunt says they've made together since allegedly spending a night months ago sleeping on her couch. She likely expected the family would back of their exclusion of her in everything family...because it's Christmas guys. She prepared herself at the last minute with gift cards and stuff she'd personally like to receive, or could use herself in the event the family stand off continued. Maybe she texted Schmee to see what time to arrive for Christmas day lunch, and got told not to bother coming given she's still seeing her drug addict/supplier mate. That would also explain the planned but now abandoned trip to Pandora for matching "sister bracelets". Time will tell!!!

Enough speculation for me on this beautiful Christmas morning...Merry Christmas fellow farmers...may you find a way to share good memories despite any negative life circumstances this festive season.

Yes it was Grandma. Multiple people were posting as Chantal in the online guestbook condolences page or whatever it was they set up.

So yeah, I think their decision to remove Chantal from their social media is less a purge than a selected privatization because any time they are seen with her in any regard their entire lives are discussed and their appearances and characters are trashed. I suspect Rasta Auntie will make private a lot of her family entries once Natalie and Kim realize that once again their pleasant holiday fun pics are on this site.

In short, we are assholes and since Chantal brings assholes like us into her life, they need to protect themselves and one of the best ways her family can do this is to make private all their interactions with Chantal and make sure she cannot secretly record them in a sad attempt to appear to be close to her family.

I agree to all of this. I know the Farms may be cynical, but after the grandmother saga, I think they realized that whatever objections they had with Chantal before, they had to put their collective foot down, and Chantal doesn't like that aspect of rejection from her desires if Bibi dumping her is anything to go by. As for calculated omissions, it may again be to avoid people talking about them on Reddit or wherever or Twitter people taking pictures of them walking down the street. I don't even know if they're aware of this site let alone read this thread, and I think the only thing that's been said negative about appearance is that some of them struck out when it came to the lottery that is genetics. The only way we'll get the truth about the family life is if one of them goes online...which they don't seem to be interested in.

Looking forward to the "2022 Chantal becomes a drunk" arc. (And also the "took 3 days, but I'm no longer an alcoholic so you shouldn't drunk shame me" post-arc)

Chins has magical thinking so she set herself up for the Christmas miracle love story. She figured she would go to her family with their welcoming arms, joy and of course giving of the gifts to her (by this time she has decided to keep the gifts she bought) and then she would whisk off though her family wanted her to stay, to the trap house.

King Tut would be waiting for her with rose petals, champagne and love songs. King Tut would do some sweeping romantic gesture, gift her with a real engagement ring, or some such Hallmark movie fantasy. He would declare what a fool he has been and they make plans for a romantic New Years at a fancy hotel with peen green bath bombs and all the pita chips a girl could want.

This is no exaggeration, this is what she expected, so now she will feel sorry for herself, but she only has herself to blame for expecting the impossible. She most likely is still thinking that King Tut will surprise her with something and will hold that thought until the end of the day.

She could have made plans for herself or modified them once they found out Peetz was staying home. She chooses to mope around to have people feel soury for her. She wallows in her own misery. She could choose to have a nice day, but instead, she will feel soury for herself and make herself miserable on purpose.
