Incredible. She is literally going insane right before our very eyes because she can't find a way to ooze out of the situation this time. Chantal CANNOT accept that her fantasy Hallmark romance has collapsed and that all the lies she told herself were proven false in front of her and the entire world.

We talk a lot about Chantal lying and why she lies but tonight has added a new dimension to it - it's not just that she lies because she's a shitty, vain, stupid person who obviously has some screws loose upstairs - she lies because she has pushed her life so far beyond what her mind can tolerate that now any confrontation with reality is immediately and permanently mind-wiped and redirected into her usual smugness/spitefulness and general insanity.

Tonight, fucking finally, after so many long months of her subconscious fighting an arduous battle against her worsening reality with Stabbyuse, her subconscious blinked and reality bitch-slapped Queen Beeze so hard that her whole mind distintegrated.

That this happened on Christmas of all days is proof that Mr. God watches over each and every one of us, except Chantal because she's a bitch. As much as I can't stop the last few shreds of my humanity from empathizing with our gorl a little bit (because shit has gotten pretty dark at this point), it is so satisfying FINALLY, FINALLY getting to see something punch through the impenetrable shield that all lolcows seem to have between themselves and the bleak truth of their lives. It really could not have happened to a more deserving person and I can't wait to see what happens now. How long till the drugs run out, I wonder?

I had that thought too while watching the stream. I think she somehow has managed to have an inverted kind of parasocial relationship with her audience. She has very limited contact with the majority of them - but because the messages go by rather quickly, and Chantal has proven time and time again that she doesn't have great comprehension, she can pick and chose what she likes and idealise certain VIBs/commenters to be friends, supporters, and confidants (even though it's a very public platform.) On the flip side, when people antagonise her en masse they can perfectly play the role of arch nemesis and make her the perfect victim who is justified in playing out her shitty self pity cycle.

The way she was ranting on about Nads reminds me of how people in high school complain about any turmoil in their relationships. I think that about sums up how she treats her streams too. It's Chantal and her loyal foodies against the rest of the school bullies and other kids who think they are too cool for her and her quirky group.

I hope one day soon someone makes a compilation of all the times Chantal has hallucinated/been paranoid that someone is in the shadows, or outside her apartment. Like that night she went screaming for Peetz in the early hours (because Sam was in her closet?).

Don't know if these episodes are just acute instances directly linked to drug use, or whether the use of / amount of new drugs she's been taking triggered something dormant, and pushed her already rotting, ticc-ing brain over the edge permanently.

Well, there’s nothing to confirm anything, but the biggest thing I’ve heard is that if they’re aware Chantal streams live, they don’t wanting to do with her “content”. Especially if it’s in a way they can’t control.

I don't necessarily agree with either of these statements. There are times that a family will celebrate on Christmas Eve because certain members are celebrating with in-laws on Christmas. So that leaves Christmas free. We know little about her, so we don't even know if her family is even alive. I can think of numerous reasons that she would be free in the evening that have nothing to do with her being a loser or loopy to not have other plans on Christmas Eve. What makes her sketchy is who she's spending with on Christmas, not the fact she had no other plans or places to be.

As for not hearing about her before, how many of Nadar's friends have we heard of before? He hasn't talked about his friends nonstop like Chantal. We know that he has friends that he plays soccer with, we haven't heard about any of them. We know he has friends in Montreal that they went and visited, we haven't heard about any of them. We know he has friends that he went out with the night that Chantal lost her fucking mind when he didn't answer her calls so she drove over there and was looking in the windows within the first few weeks they were together. We haven't heard anything about them. So just because we haven't heard or seen her till now means nothing. He hasn't drug his friends on screen or around her. Other than his roommate, she hasn't mentioned meeting his friends, which kind of underscores how little he thought of their relationship.
