I don't get what their game is. The people who don't believe them aren't going to be swayed by some podcast. The people who already believe Monica and Jamie don't need some rousing speech to strengthen their talking points.

This isn't going to own Nick Rekieta. It's just going to give him more fodder to monetize. They're literally doing nothing but helping the man they hate. Perfect timing too, since with Kim Potter's trial wrapping up he doesn't have any material for his daytime trial streams.

I'm probably late but who tf is James Kerwin?

One of the writer/directors on Star Trek Continues. His name was on the open letter several of his Continues colleagues tweeted out condemning Vic after some Karen (Amy Imhoff) freaked out that he was going to be at LA Comic Con earlier this month. She got doxed after Vic was booted. In response, the fat mads on twitter rounded up several of his friends and associates on Star Trek Continues and got them to publicly denounce him. Those who added their name to the list were/are being doxed as well and reportedly complained to Vic about it.

James Kerwin actually had a panel at LA Comic Con, along with another STC alumni, Larry Nemecek, who tweeted out the open letter as well. Both appeared with Vic on a Star Trek podcast together last year following the death of Grant Imahara, who played Sulu on the show. You have to bend the knee if you want to get invited to these big events.

Oh, and according to his promo, he also directed @Svetlana's short film, When the Train Stops.

Didn't MoRon submit a motion to dismiss the appeal that was smacked down by the appellate judges? I mean, that's not nothing.

That tells me the appellate Court is intending to (at the very least) LOOK at the case.

And if these appellate judges have at least one more brain cell than Chupp, then I'd say Vic's chances are better than MoRon are making them out to be.

Didn't clever Kiwis find out that the so-called patio wasn't even attached to rooms? IRC didn't the hotel this incident happen at explicitly tell the kiwis who called the hotel that there is no way their rooms have ways to get out to patios?

If appeals comes back in Vic’s favor, Nick should just reveal everything he’s been told by his sources within Funimation.

They tried to have it dismissed for want of jurisdiction. It's not particularly unusual or indicative of anything. If they can instantly defeat an appeal on a longshot, might as well try.

Also, at least one appeal is guaranteed. The courts have to look at it, provided Vic had all his ducks in a row, which he did.
