She is really good at interacting with the others and is constantly joining streams or having people join her streams to just chat. The "hi honey" schtick was overused and annoying but she doesn't seem to use it as much now (guessing it was just due to nervousness). I hate the whole "step on me" thing that some people seem to associate her with but I do love the whole "boomer parent wanting to be hip and cool with the kids" character she plays.

huh reminds me of a Nina clip the damn Youtube algorithm put into my recommended feed recently, she really does give off boomer mom vibes. Like an EN Marine, a little cringe but also adorable.

Not really interested in watching male vtuber stream alone, however I'm definitely invested in the collab potential.

Pretty much this, plus there might be a higher potential of watching maybe average skill-level gameplay on collabs.

The Ollie + Astel/Roberu, Fubuki + Oga, Gundou + Kanda collabs just give off a different vibe, and the teasing is on a different level.

Luxiem actually has a lot of JP and CN clips on Youtube and Bilibili, and (at least a few days ago) their top viewed clip on Bili had more views than the top viewed clip on Youtube. They have like 26 pages of clips on Bili, and that's just by searching "Luxiem."
That being said, they are still certainly way smaller on Bili than Hololive were, so it probably will be a nothingburger.

I, for one, would rather Cover focused on building on the HolostarsJP boys and this new Gen rather than make an EN branch. At best, I can see at least one of the members speaking English.

I think it's also very to assume a StarsEN = more 'collab potential' for the girls. They're for the boys. Cover and the talents who speak on it are extremely clear on the two groups being considered internally as separate productions. Most of Hololive don't acknowledge their existence, or they'll make up dumb excuses like 'Haha the only penis-haver I talk to is my brother uwu'. It feels very wrong to me to only want a StarsEN branch so they can provide content for HoloEN.

Roberu and Astel have to work OUT THE ASS to network with companies like AniMare, Nijisanji, 774 etc just to maintain numbers comparable to NijiEN whilst the entire remainder of the branch... don't. If StarsEN end up in a similar predicament, then you'll be more likely to see them interact with Nina or Mousey than you are Gura or Kiara. I look forward to the collab potential.

I think Holostars EN, if it happens, would get at least NijiEN numbers simply because there's a decent amount of thirst for male vtubers and for many vtuber fans Hololive = vtubing. I do agree that people should not get their hopes up for Holostars EN to be more connected with Hololive EN than Stars and Live are on the JP side of things. At its core Hololive is set up as a space for female idols only, with outsiders permitted for occasional collabs, but that's about it. Hell, there are closer connections between Hololive and Nijisanji girls than there are between Hololive and Holostar members in Japan.

Should have told that to Niji management about making an EN Branch and instead should have supported the ID and KR branches when you guys were having a meeting
