The "most attractive" dude from my high school class hung himself in 2016. Few other people I know are dead from various kinds of drugs. I captain a couple beer league rec sports teams, with a good number of college kids/couples on them; and when I sober up on Monday and take stock of things, man its depressing. Nobody feels that they can have kids, despite most of us being late 20's through 30's. One couple actually owns a house. Most people have masters degrees and are still fighting for scraps in their professional lives. Dogs are a huge thing and a disgustingly obvious cope for being an early 30's attractive woman and somehow not finding a husband and having kids.
These are the "go out and have fun playing sports and then get drunk/party after" types that are more fit than average and more sociable than average - and even they are fighting tooth and nail to not have their lives go completely fucking sideways in any given year. Anyone who still is going "lalalalala just don't have a shit social circle bro lol" is a fucking idiot and is probably gonna get slapped with some reality soon that even they can't blind themselves to.
