I like Tom Scott's videos but yeah, I'm not at all surprised this is the tack he took. Kind of hope he learns the hard way that it is impossible to win by apologizing to crybullies.

Probably won't, though. He's at that weird level of internet fame where normie media wouldn't be interested in boosting a cancel campaign, but he's got enough established e-fame that it's obvious that he's better to leech off of than to try to destroy.

i love that you can post a picture of any troon with no commentary and people think it's an attack. they're that embarrassing and ugly, and even allies know that deep down. any other picture of a human would be a random picture and require no defense. also dexdavican's tweet sounds like it came directly from The Trial.

However there's plenty of black people who dgaf and will call a spade a spade. So in essence it's usually white liberals giving trans women the N-word pass, because they'd hate to criticise a trans woman more than they'd hate to criticise a black person. Especially anything to do with a trans woman's appearance.

My college program was in STEM which meant spending a lot of time around nerdy guys (mostly playing pirated Starcraft in the lab). Guys and girls really can have close friendships without sex getting in the way. Not all nerds are creeps either, none of the ones I spent time with were. Most of them had girlfriends and were socially functional, they just liked computers. Not once in the four years I was hanging out in the lab did those guys make me feel uncomfortable or like they were being creepy, not even the socially awkward ones.

If you're incapable of being close friends with the opposite sex without feeling like a creep, maybe, just maybe, you're a creep.
