I joined that Discord and the first conversation I saw was some people trying to groom some teenager into fucking transwomen. Did not touch that place any further and left that day, way too suspicious. Most active section seems to be the comments shitting place though. Cody is right to "victim blame her". Cypher really seems to have convinced himself into believing that Lindsey did not use her own audience to hurt and cancel other people before and during her very own cancellation. Cypher seems to be very shocked that her own audience turned on her. What happened to Lindsey was completely her own fault.

Saw this video being recommended from the dino autist, which while not over all abysmal, just has to shove in random modern leftie takes on ancient history. And is full of dated meme attempts at jokes.
First there's the mention of the ancient aliens quacks. For some reason, there are people that took parts of the insane idea that literally every major historical event that has ever happened was set up by or completely constructed by aliens, and made it a race thing. Says something about how the show 'focuses mainly' on how those damn dirty brown people couldn't have built temples or anything advanced, but looking any deeper into this claim shows that the hosts are just whackjobs that say anything and everything, up into the modern day were the responsibility of extraterrestrials. I don't get where the people who claim it's an evil nazi sentiment think they're going with that.

Moving on, we have multiple references to human animal idols, which of course he uses to say ancient fursonas, not that they could have any other symbolic meaning.

And then the "gay caveman" story, which he uses to project the hypothesis that ancient cultures all somehow believed in the postmodern ideologies of "third genders" , nonbinary, and even being somehow accepting of transgenderism. He uses the fact that some people were buried in a way unbefitting of traditional male or female burials. Not that this could have just been to micro differences between separate cultures, or just due to mistakes in burial, or to people just having different roles in society, not strictly related to sex. This revisionism is getting to a ridiculous level. It's funny how a lot of other things can be debatable but the endless expansion of the gender wars nonsense only has one valid side.

A few other things like this happen in the video, and on top of that there's several actually interesting topics he barely covers just to skip over to more meme garbage.

Trey said he took a four month hiatus and this was supposed to be his major return video. If this is supposed to be impressive, I guess there's a reason I haven't paid attention to his channel in a long time. The thing's 50 minutes but feels like there's maybe a good five of okay commentary.

I am honestly surprised he didn't suggest there were black vikangz when he did the Viking one, that is something the good folks at Time Ghost hinted at.

Yeah, the whole "genetic diversity" narrative compounded with the black Europeans segment was prime material for him to inject that, I guess even he knows that is still considered wild. Good to know that he actually considers the variety of races that were in old Europe that just happened to have white skin genetically diverse. Speaking of wanting to become an archeologist, if the field is being filled with people like this, it needs more that will oppose the revisions that they are proposing. Especially ironic to have the video full of them with a layer dedicated to a guy who nuked Troy off the map when "excavating" it, for they are doing such destruction similarly just not in a physical way.

Yeah my hopes are to either major in archeology or history (Antiquity or Medieval) but the presence of these revisionists is a huge blackpill.

In addition to his Schliemann spergout (Not that I disagree, he was probably the worst 19th century archeologist), he brings up cheddarman yet forgets to mention they found no genetic data on his skin color. I kid you not some SocJus hack made the conscious choice to make Cheddarman black skinned to BTFO the Natzees. It's like those DNA companies who throw random African or Jewish ancestry in peoples chart.

Wow. Notice how he also says the guy had "light colored eyes"...? What? So he's got that side of European/caucasian genetics but somehow has entirely black skin and african facial features?

I hate the fucking narrative that human-animal idols discovered somehow is the equivalent of of modern fursona perversions. There's thousands of depictions of animal headed gods in ancient cultures, and not once are they portrayed fucking, mind you there's a lot of fucking in the myths, but that goes for both the fully human gods and the ones with animal limbs. If animal hybrid gods are supposed to be an ancient form of furry shit they're extremely restrained compared to their modern equivalent. Also imagine to the fucking ego of modern man to think that their personal delusions is the equivalent of a deity given non human traits to signify its divinity.
