Tom gave a well thought-through statement and is going out of his way to donating to (frankly, sus) charities, expecting to take a loss on the video for something that isn't his fault and is by all non-twitter metrics a nonissue.

We all see someone like Lindsey as being an unbelievably privileged white woman living the feminist fantasy and trying to damage control with an "I'm the victim but also the victor" pity party.

Simp logic is different- see, since people like Lindsey are rich and on the top, they're in the company of other rich people who are on the top- the most toxic men of them all! And therefore need extra help. And those poor men of color with high amounts of abuse towards women are just acting out because they're underprivileged. I still don't know how donating to an already rich woman who has it made is supposed to help all women. Maybe you can figure that one out.

I still think it's ridiculous that "cancellation" (which brought her down from 20K to 18K, what will she do?) is what she's stating as making her want to leave. If getting harassed and cancelled and being the perfect uwu victim gets me $18,000? Sign me up! Have a bunch of soy boys or, i dunno, Chinese Wolf Warriors harass me relentlessly on the internet. Even better- have Level1Online come to my house for a month, follow me around to every job and store I go to, annoy me and lecture me about how great the Amico's going to be, and at the end of the month I hear "DARIU-U-U-US! DARIU-U-U-US! DAR! D-D-D-DAR! D-D-D-D-D-DAR! and Darius Truxton wrestles him away from me and hands me $18,000 USD (not CAD, USD). I work two jobs and something like 18K is a PACKET for me.

From what I understand he's been pretty anti-"lefty" (or at least anti-BreadTube kind of lefty) ever since he made a video talking about what would have happened if the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade never occurred- and came to the conclusion that Racism would be even worse in that timeline since Europeans wouldn't have been living alongside blacks for centuries in the colonies- rather seeing then as so foreign and alien that they could be compared to the mythical cyclops and would have no problems resorting to outright ethnic cleansing when the inevitable colonization of Africa did occur.

He got a ton of shit/accusations of racism for it from the usual suspects and seems to have been pretty based ever since.

She acts like being a woman on the internet was such a struggle for her, yet I can't remember her ever being harassed for her gender. On the contrary, it seems she was always getting praise, especially from men.
At least someone like Lupa had a good reason to be mad, but Lindsay was basically the First Lady of Channel Awesome and she left on her own terms once again receiving nothing but praise.
She was loved for being a woman on the internet, it's everywhere else she had troubles making a brand out of herself because there're plenty smug hoes like Lindsay irl.
