I also have a harrowing story about a Jack encounter. If you've been upset about something before you may want to stop reading right now because I love you all so god damn much.

It couldn't have been more than a couple of years ago but I was out on the town and had decided to treat myself to a burger and a beer. This bar was shaped like a rectangle, where the bartender could service all sides from the aging dangly bits of liquor for one and all. Since I am a social outcast and hideously ugly I sat myself at the very end as to not bother people as well as to view all the happy normal people going about their day.

It wasn't a busy day and at the bar there were only three other patrons, which I assumed were enjoying a nice quiet say out. The first man was an old gay man half drunk on cosmopolitans. The other two were a cute young couple, laughing and joking about something or other. They were drinking white claws and talking about something that neither I nor the elderly gay man could possibly understand. This is the way of young love.

Then it happened.

The innocent young couple upon sipping from their white claws went in for a kiss. The bar started furiously shaking and in fear I held my fifth glass of Maker's Mark and chaser can of PBR tightly, fearing an earthquake that would spill my precious refuge from reality.
