If they had a theatrical release of a Rick and Morty movie would you go see it, and what promotional snacks would you buy at the concession?

Solution
Yes, but only if they require an IQ test before allowing anyone into the theater. I simply could not share a Rick & Morty movie experience with people of a lesser intellect than myself.
I watched the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie in college by doing bong rips then going to the theater, and the movie was hysterical until ~40 mins in when I sobered up. I imagine a Rick and Morty movie would have a similar problem. I don't live in a state where recreational marijuana is even legal, let alone one where you can take a bong into a movie theater, so I can't imagine myself seeing the Rick and Morty movie in person. (I'd stream it at home)

Rick and Morty just needs to die already. It was never good. It isn’t funny or insightful. It exists to reassure easily influenced idiots that they are intelligent and witty when in reality they’re all Jerry.

  1. Even the early episodes that I sort of liked had a lot of painful moments that prevent me from rewatching the show, so I can't imagine sitting through a current year, feature-length gimmick.
  2. Pirate all media to make sure you like it before giving anyone money for it.
  3. Movie theaters suck for their own list of reasons.
  4. The Rick and Morty fanbase is one of those fanbases that I avoid, so there's no way I'd go out of my way to be in an enclosed space with a shitload of them.
  5. Movie theater concession prices could start WW3 and I would load up my bigger purse with beef jerky, cashews and Belgian chocolates if someone somehow managed to drag me out to a theater.

Aside from having more swearing and nudity than is allowed on Adult Swim, I'm having a hard time imagining what they could even do in a theatrical Rick and Morty movie that they haven't already done on television, assuming they follow the usual TV cartoon to theatrical movie "law" of being more epic than the usual TV episodes.

A lot of movies based on animated TV shows have the characters save the town, country, or world, but I don't think that kind of plot would work with Rick and Morty considering we've already seen that any time they screw the world up beyond redemption, they just move to another dimension.

It would just be a 140 minute episode
