Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

A potential fresh/blank slate, in both policy and past baggage, or a return to the Obama era, depending on how it's spun?

That's also before getting into diversity checkboxes, Trump vs a WoC would drive turnout for the woke, without having to run on any woke policies.

Any advantage Trump would have in a debate would at least be partially countered by calling him a mansplainer.

It seems like a great pick to me, not a great one to run the country, but a good fit for DNC tactics.

Michelle Obama is not very bright to put it mildly. As Ann Coulter has pointed out she was on academic probation multiple times, graduated at the bottom of her class, and the title of her graduate thesis was "how I feel being a black person at Harvard."

She can function all right as a figurehead that's shielded by the media but that's about it.

Not just vax commercials. It's been like that for damn near all commercials since last year. They're trying to virtue signal to keep the woke crowd off their backs. Or they legitimately believe this is going to increase sales.

I'd say they aren't dumb enough to believe that, but after everything we've seen so far, I'm not so sure.

For virtually AOC's entire political career people have liked to joke about being feet fetishists who really want to see AOC's feet. Ben Shapiro and other conservatives usually get roped into these memes. As far as I'm aware this is the first time she's commented on it - her tone is unsurprising, considering she just got caught doing a "rules for thee, not for me".
